Zilo, I have to agree wif Xar.
Also UT is right, all depends on the template of course, but after day 14 wif ur standings u will loose against the strong players.
Maybe u can last till day 15 wif Hexa, but than it's over also
Allowing diplo might be in ur advantage.
Ryland vs Vido on a XL wif under might be interesting.
(Vido gets diplo sooner than mighty Isra.)
Oh yeah and playing wif average monsters is not an option for me.

Usuallly avg monsters are not an option for me, too. So this avg monster rule in rampart v. necro game is not an accident. Not at all...

this issue is double edged. Easier to harvest, yet less to harvest. And better chance to AQAP stop harvesting

i have read your posts with interest.....
on large map with under rampart will lose 80% of the time
20% you will get lucky because of the following:
-template with few creatures
-you diplo an insane stack like 70 behemoths week 4
-you are playing a n00b
-you start a week apart with 16 gnolls as guards
if above doesnt apply,then you will be reporting loss faster than you can read this post.

A GOOD WAY TO LEARN THINGS ABOUT WEAKNESSES AND STRONG POINT FOR EACH TOWN IS TO PLAY HOTSEAT VS YRSELF.
ITS NOT THE MOST FUN AND U DO HAVE TO CONVINCE YRSELF U DIDENT GO WEST JUST BEACUSE U KNEW THAT THE RELIC WAS THERE FROM OTHER COLOURS TURN.
BUT.. TRY RAMP VS NECRO IN HOTSEAT VS YRSELF. U WILL C THAT ON A RANDOM LARGE ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN FOR RAMPART.
HOWEVER A MAJOR FACTOR/BREAK FOR RAMPART COULD BE NECROS LACK OF GEMS/CRYSTALS, MAKING THEM NOT BEEING ABLE TO UPG VAMPS. THIS WILL REDUCE THE NECRO DEVELOPMENT BY "ALOT"
OTHER THAN THAT ITS DOWN TO BRILLIANT PLAY AND LUCKY MAP.
