What he's trying to say is that the WoG team is ruining the gameplay of the original HoMM. Dunno how they do it though, I liked every single change they made in the game. If you don't like them, you might as well play the original game.

In my eyes wog gave me back the intrest in H3, it just totally livings up h3 and I love it. I think Slava and all of us are doing a wonderful job. If ya don;t like it take your ball and go home!!

Ma people.
I knew you'd understand this the wrong way.I just say one thing.WoG is cool,I love it,I play it as often as I can.I don't hate it ,but that commander thing just complicates the game.We should make a change elsewhere.I simply say that
(it's my oppinion)we should modify the artefact scripts.
Using the commander thing,unbalances the game,and complicates it too much in the creature feature[)].
Now you understand?!?!
PSon't forget,WoG is cool.I am not anti-WoG.
In the time I am writing these I am also installing the new addon for Heroes4(in our country things are harder to find).
I am eager to see it.Bye.

Go do this! ERM Scripter is always available for download from the official WoG site (you should know its adress if you love WoG). Complete ERM documentation is waitin' for ya in erm_help folder. What's wrong, why don't you go and do this?

Now I understand one simple thing: you certainly don't know that there's a WoGify Options Dialogue Box which allows you to turn commanders off.

Statistics again

This thread is meant to be dedicated to new feature proposals, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself, but there's been a lot of time since I posted about the statistics wish, and that was a post in the HOMM4 wishes forum. I can't avoid to explain this wish to a far more HOMM experienced developing team: the WoG Team ;-D

The goal is to have at your disposal a statistic screen, which could be linked in any suitable place (right click in any of the existing adventure options, or a new adventure option), only to see how many enemies have you defeated and how many are your own casualties.

A possible approach could be a matrix with factions as columns (YOU, red player, green player, ... , neutrals) and creatures as rows (from the mightiest to the weakest). A later version could also include portraits of dead heroes, but I know I'm getting ambitious. If you want to get deeper on this topic, just ask: I have a lot of ideas about it...

Hmm, something similar to the thieves guild. I like it. The idea with portraits of defeated heroes is OK... but there isn't much place. We could rather put names of defeated heroes or something like that.

I would like to see more terrain influence in the game. An example: while a wyvern is a easy catch for champion on plains I think that realisticaly the champion wouldn't stand a chance in swamp.But in the game champion will win. Same thing is with all creatures/terrains.  I think that +1 to ATT, DEF and speed is too small advantage. I think that  -3 to ATT, DEF and speed to all non-swampy units would be more "apropriate"
Players would have to think twice before attacking the fortress hero in swamp or Tower hero on snow. That would bring another level of strategy to game because you would be able to defeat much stronger armies with smart usage of terrain factor.
BTW -3 refers only to the swamp, other terrains may have different penalties.

i think that all crature in town could bu upgreaded 2 times.
not just once.
8th level must be builded in town and must cost a lot of mithril.
of course must be new creatures.
lvl8 dwelwings (i don't know how to write that)must not  be on the map.

Oh yeah! A great idea! I understand, that you will be the one to do all of the new graphics for almost 100 monsters. Who do you think is programming WoG? A whole nation of cyborgs? They are only human beings. Adding ONE creature is too much work for you or me (believe me) so don't push it!

And adding a new object to a castle is almost impossible to do.
