From a quick view, your problem comes from the order of checks you used. You store in y-27 (which will become x3 in next function) the buildings in towns, but you start with the bigger (capitol) and finish with the lesser (village hall). So your y-27 is set to 10 when it checks, but then it checks village hall and set y-27 to 1. Reverse the order of checks, starting with village hall and ending with capitol, in this way, y-27 will not get overwritten by a smaller value.

In original script was the same method, begins with castle and ending with fort. The problem is that the checking end after the 3 steps. I need 8 steps. to parse through all buildings.

i try what you told me but nothing. it stoped when x3=3. It is ignored x3=4 and so on. For fort and village hall the town must has 25000 command points, but it shows me just 15000.

Sorry Khadras, and I hope this is visible to all people submitting modified scripts for correction.
1) When modify an already working script, add at the end of all new commands your name.
2) When modify an already working script, don't remove lines but instead disable them by removing the trigger (ex: !? becomes **)
3) When uploading a modified script AND the original version, RENAME them ex(myscript, myscript1), thus the downloaded doesn't get the first file he uploaded overwritten by the second.
I have no time to check through 350 script lines and find/guess which were modified by you. Please learn to modify properly so the guy who looks in can see the problem without spending hours.

I've seen some in-game screenshots that has the text "ERM is updated", how can I get the ERM script to update directly in the game like that for easier testing?

There is a key combo for that but I cant remember what it is under Windows 7. I usually use the Snipping Tool.

Hi guys, one my friend needed a help with script to make towns captured by human players to convert to their faction. I found some strings in script Conquistador which adds such function to AI players:

Hi
I have a quick question. It seems that if i use the option "Random Hero" and play a game with all 8 Players it doesnt work anymore.
So there has to be at least one free player spot for the script to work i guess.Right?
Is there a way to work around this? I mean there should be enough "free" heroes left in the map so the script could work.
If anyone knows a quick solution for the problem, would be great.
Could it work if i just delete some lines of code? Iam not so deep in scripting, if its not possible never mind then.

Please help me who can !
Every time i play random maps or maps ERA WOG downloaded from sites I encounter the same issue:
-namely in the second week of the second month of my game freezes (the computer does not want to turn to the site).
I gave another restart I chose this map but nothing blocking my game always occurs when enemies are armed legions big order.
Therefore please who ever happened or knows a solution to help me .. Thanks in advance if anyone helps me.

Not always with same computer player or in the same day, right?
I heard about a bug that makes game freeze sometimes when computer tries to dig for grail.
Maybe u could try a map that doesn't have obelisks, just to check...

It seams like Salamandre is out of this project, I hope not definetively.
So, I would like to address all those brilliant persons who were able to really learn and develop ERM:
we need a refresh on ERM for dummies and similar projects.
Can some create a Step by step guide to Erm, with very basic examples like "create an object that gives 2 to a ramdom primary skill" and so on?
I think it would be also good to have some lectures analising WoG traditional scripts like Wogify.
I know this sounds just like lazzyness from me but the truth is Salamandre's belives that "the lack of tutorials (is) a positive thing, as it keeps the modding 'secrets' only for those really motivated" will definitively be less accurate if no one else finds the time to analize tons of undocumented code everytime a problem appears.
I hope a C like WoG 3.59 can came out of some worthy hands in the next year or I predict Heroes 3 extraordinary longivity is about to end.
