The first creature looks alright, and that last one (the green one) looks promising, but more work could be done to it to make it perfect.
And I too agree with bigjocker. You shouldn't rush with making creatures, just take your time while doing them. Sure less will be made, but the quality should be improved if you take your time

I'm not a creature maker, and I know that it's not cool here to give ideas without any work done but...
I've seen in this topic many makers with really awesome abilities. But rather making totally new creatures, why not remake some existing before ?
I mean WoG creatures like lvl 8 and messengers especially, which just are recolored. Maybe someone already said that before, but I didn't find it anywhere.
By combining creatures, it could be easy to create dreadful lvl 8 and nice messengers maybe.

when you install AcidDragon's patch, which is worth installing i can tell you, your messengers will be gone and never seen again

Well, I don't want to replace them by acid's elementals, but keep them as non just-recolored stone golems. Some will surely say : just do it yourself, but you're the artists there

okay i think i know how you made these. 1 - added the pegasus' warrior onto the unicorn.
2 - lower part - efreet, middle part - fire elemental, topmost part - pheonix's flames.
3- lower body- centaur, top - monk.
4 - hat - cavalier, head - cyclope? Dunno
5 - tail - water elemental, dyed green, body - energy elemental, dyed yellow. The rest I don't know. s there a medusa somewhere here?

You forgot the scythe of the devil for 2nd creature.
4th is Archangel's body, crusaders legs and shield and champion's head, and goblin's weapon.
5th is Ice Elemental's tail, Energy elemental's body, Magma Elemental's head and Psychic Elemental's turban.

I think all the towns should grab a serious overhaul. For example, the Heroes 5 Sylvan has like no creatures the same as in Heroes 2 rampart.
I was also thinking that the towns should have 8 or even 9 creatures, not just 7. Cuz theres just SO MANY IDEAS!! For example Heroes 6 might look like this:
Tiers 1: Pixie
2: Satyr
3: Hunter
4. Centaur
5. Druid
6. Unicorn
7. Tree guardian
8. Dragon
How do you like this idea?

So far we're only making new creatures by combining parts from the old ones, and it's always the water elemental's tail, zealot's head, genie's body, angel's sword, devil's horn, and etc. can somebody make a brand new unit, it's source is not found in the previous heroes series...
For example, how about a sphinx? i knew sphinx had appear in heroes 2 but never appeared as a unit, and we can add ability to it for riddle solving and instant kill for not solving the riddle right.
Here're some of my suggestions:
1. Argus:
may have had as many as one hundred eyes, which were located all over his body.
2. Scylla and Charybdis:
the powerful monsters Scylla and Charybdis lived together in a sea cave.
3. Sirens:
The Sirens were giant, winged creatures with the heads of women.

its really hard to make absolutely new creature,especially if you dont know 3d modelling...much easyer to steal it from somewhere or make from parts so if you want completly new ones- do them yourself ))
