By saying creature spammer I mean that you are just creating creatures(very good creatures) without animating them, like Evilhydra

Also I am not sure if I can create good creatures but I don't think that I am so patient to create them.

NoxIntus, I like this last creature of yours very much, nice job.

Could work as an easter egg or something . Here's another render of it, which I'm not particularly proud of due to the poor quality of the ufo (I made it quickly, because I wanted to test if I could get a custom creature working in-game):


I can do way better than that and I'm planning to in the near future. My dream is to make a town of my own, I wanted to do this ever since I started playing heroes 3 a looooong time ago...heh, I even made sketches with towns and creatures back then, but looking at them now, they suck infinitely. But I think I'll keep it for myself, as there are already a lot of good town projects going on.

I know it doesn't fit the heroes world, I wasn't even aiming for that .

Anyway, this is the creature I'm working on now:

This is just a draft, I'm planing on making my own particles and I still have some skinning issues I need to fix.
I'm also working on another one at the same time, but I only finished the face so far.

That UFO thing is absolutely outstanding.  I don't even care that it doesn't fit the Heroes world (which it kinda does, if you know all the storyline facts), it's amazing.  Have you made a .def file yet to get it into the game?

Oh btw if you still don't know where the creature portraits are stored, they're in H3sprite.lod.  The file is TwCrPort.def.

thanks guys! Yes, I made a def that works fine in the game. The only problem is that I didn't center it correctly, so when it turns there's a discontinuity in the animation.

I named them so they replace the archangel (that's how I tested it...I still don't know how to add a creature without replacing existing ones ).

(Just so everyone knows, 3DS Max was the same tool used by the NWC developers to create all of the original creatures.)

Cam greu sa faci un sistem de particule de calitate, deoarece esti limitat la calitatea unui GIF (Indexed colors, no Anti-aliasing). Oricum, toate 3 creaturile sunt superbe Succes in continuare

Mulțumesc ! Calitatea este de BMP în joc, nu de GIF dar oricum, ai dreptate, anti-aliasing nu este posibil. Dar asta nu este o problemă. O să încerc săptămâna asta să fac particulele, să văd cum or să iasă.

Bsically we talked about particles, I said I'll try this week to make them and see how they'll look. If by any chance I won't get them to look good, I'll use the efreet or genie ones.

I said: anti-aliasing could be possible in 3.59 only if vector graphics will be added. There is a project to improve graphics in Wog Team
