Actually the idea was Asheron's in the first place, if I recall. They wanted to make a Norse town with Dwarves included.

Actually, I still think that would be a good idea. With vikings and nordic stuff... Nordic mythology is rich, beautiful and original, if used right.
But it seems Protoss are trendy now  I've seen things like that. People want to add one thing, the next week another thing, and another and another, suddenly people start to get too 'busy', leave the project with 78 unfinished ideas, and it all goes to the trash can. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am. But what I've seen by now tells me otherwise.
Don't take me wrong, I'm not against the idea, I just think it would be a great side project, separate from BoF.

Jesus Christ it doesn't freaking matter, it's not like we have copyrights and stuff...
Anti, I helped you for your project (and not just me, but also Wog_Edn and the others), I think it would be fair if you let us make a Nordic faction for our project if we want to. Dwarves would just be maximally 3 units in it anyway. If we even decide to make a new faction.

dude,chill. it was my idea to make a nordic mythology based town,but i didn't say nothin about the dwarves! and Nexus isn't just a Protoss based town,it also has some Draenei stuff in it.(like lvl5. i cant imagine a Protoss in robes casting ice based spells) and if you read the whole thread about Nexus in BoF forum you noticed that some heroes portraits use Draenei pics in them. i just wanted to merge two races from the games i love into the other game that i love. is that to much to ask? do *censored* dwarves sound really better than a race which uses MAGIC and has some cool technology? huh? dwarves... i think this pic explains my opinion about them.

Nordic peoples use runic magic and there are zounds of awesome spells, creatures, legends and, well, everything in their mythology. What, something made by a commercial gaming company a few years ago is better than what all the nordic peoples have thought of and worshipped for over two millenia? Oh please...
Asheron loves Legacy of Kain but he doesn't want to implement it in Heroes. Some things just do not go together. Showing a picture of a bull on a toilet to everybody whose opinion differs to you will lead you nowhere.

We're not professional artists, but game modders and, in most cases, just people with hobbies.
Besides, I'd like to see you try and see what it's like to remake sprites and such. Especially with full animation.  It's tougher than it seems mate, trust me.
