Stronghold in early game > all
Gurnisson (Barbarian, so lots of attack) + Commander (with Ballista Master skill) + week 1 Behemoths = unlock half the map before the week is over. I've taken some level7 dwellings day 3...
I love it. 
No other hero, good specialty or not, can come close to this in the early/mid game. Late game:
"The Ballistas do double damage! 5 Ghost Dragons perish."
"The Ballistas do double damage! 5 Ghost Dragons perish."
Etc.
*edit* Also, after the first battle, this Commander can also shoot.

All i need is exp tactics & exp offense & your through lol.
Oh & did I mention Hack gets air quite early in game also

ROFL!
Me, n00b? I use Crag Hack in regular heroes 3, this is WOG...artillery is just too good for opening up the map fast.
