Put ur money where ur mouth is
Since Hexa and I are getting sick of al the flaming in here, here is something u guys might find interesting:
since we have some selfproclaimed masters of the universe amongst us, I suggest the following:
SP-guys: post a (link to a) map and let some of the big mouth MP-vets (including myself) play it and we'll c the score. U set the rules and all.
Send ur score and saves of every day to an experienced refferee (spelling? lol) who will make sure no cheats have been used.
MP-guys: make an appointment with some of the MP-guys and go to an internet-cafe, or find a friend who has access to the zone and set up a match.
And after we've settled that, have a CONSTRUCTIVE DISCUSSION about the tactics u used.
Deal?
This topic is about this subject alone, all flames will get deleted and all other topics that look like this will also get deleted.
In the mean time please behave on the other topics also, will u?

Yeah.....but how will I know no one has Hexed a score??????
This is however a good chance for me to rid myself of the nOOb hat. I think that this idea is great, mayhaps a qp for you?..What kind of map??? Also is using all tactics allowed???? and is some towns banned?

I'd also like to know 'bout Hexing a game...It can cheat like that.
Also, I never said I was the best,Just not a nOOb, but I'd like to have a sp vs mp match....maybe a map like that. I'd be a sp cause i've never played online? Or a mp cause I play hot set in many diff towns?
This is also a q I'd like to know as of nature of the mp gamers....If sp people loses will mp people still be able to flame them ,but sp people not to flame back>?

Made an appointment with Grunan for last Saturday, also offered Sunday (see one of those noob threads). Wasted several hours online these days, needless to say he didn't show up.
I'm through with this... I'm not gonna waste one more minute replying to those "killer strategy posts", not to mention making appointments & waiting online.

No no...as I stated I'll try I gotta get puter ready...so sorry for to waste time....but i never confirmed the exact time....nor did I reply to you r e-amil....so i cant help your all teared up *sniff sniff*...and at any rate no tossing in here.....u are never at hc for me to let ya know of what the downlow...so that was you r bullet to bite....when im on you'll know...i wont stand around and not say right?

At this moment and state of mind, I cant contribute any decisions for SPs. I will say, which every type of competition preferably Homm4, I will play.
Dont think that later I wont say things but for now it's simply-
Honor, If you play the map more than once enjoy your QP and recognition.
Courage, We should pick one map which utilizes one alignment. Ect.. Infact, SP/MP seperated tournies might confuse things but I'm willing to work for fun =)

BTW points/ratings..
Everyone should know what points are determined by. I now time, gold/resource, and strength are matters.. Howvere some may know the specific equations to work with. Utilizing mastery w/that knowldeg could be devestating..
So what is that knowledge anyways? =P

I'll play. I just gotta get multiplayer to work.
Anyway, I'm not the best player in the solo games. I couldn't beat the guys at H3Trio. And there's probably plenty of you guys who could beat me multiplayer. I'd just like to play them.
Can anyone give me an idea at least of what it is like? Do you play it all in one go? Or do you stop and keep going the next day? One turn per day?
I don't much like random maps, but I'll do them if it means making it fair for multiplayer.
Its partially a matter of time right now. But on weekends I have more of it.
Once it can actually damn well work on the internet (which I certainly DO NOT think is my internet or anything stupid like that), then we can play.
At least you guys can confirm, the first people ever, that it actually CAN work online. I had thought for years that this is a myth.
I'm sure it'll take a while to do really well, but I don't care. Heck, play WOG or HOMM4, which I don't even know how to play properly. The whole point is just being able to play it, not whether or not I win.
And I'd rather play against someone competitive with me too. I get so sick of my friends who play hotseat and can't play to save themselves.

this is a toss, skill isnt judged by playing solely against the computer.
Skill is judged by playing 1v1. battles against computer is a big part of this anyway.
So an easy way to settle this would be just to play 1v1. Singleplayer n00bs sets up a time with multiplayers (and shows up too ) and then let them fight it out.
As easy as that, no talk about faking scores and such.
1v1...let the best man win.

Skill is what it is. Sometimes the player strikes & wins.
A better player would win more often if the game was equal.

Kuma?...offline playing maybe with some autosave reloading!?!? ..bah! ..i think u wont get any good players for this ... or wait a minute.. Did u offer yourself as a player for it? Only to show some "ive-no-idea-what-im-talking-about-newbies" that they are wrong. Lol ..no ..they get all this 4 years practise informations for free and then they say: Well Kuma u maybe have some good points in your post, but i think to built a capitol in first week is better"...lol.. Kuma dont waste your time... maybe we should play a random instead

I guess I'll not flame this time..as it seems as if my ponts are never understood by Kuma anyway....
....lol I'd likie to say that in most of my game they really don't last long enough for a Capitol...3wks is normally the most...,but some people like to play like that and there is nothing wrong wigh that. Sure they will prolly lose,but to the thats the way they play. If they don't bash you 'bout that we should'nt bash them ok? Thanx ...Tim
