I would vote for chain lightning. Fire, disintergration or death spells might damage the souls. I want souls in the HMLP as unscathed as possible. It looks better and they will be more aware of the torture.

Men...
If PrivateHudson were here, he'd say something about not generalizing all men together. There are so many different variations of men concerning likes and dislikes. I don't want to try and generalize men by qualifying myself as one. I'll post some of what is definitely a bad thing about me and perhaps since I'm a man, it may coincide with some general traits.
Ah jeez who am I kidding? What I'm trying to say is that I have a whole boat-load of quirks and issues about myself that I know my loving wife puts up with everyday. Here are a few of them:
 I love to watch certain t.v. shows. Among them is one about these girls trying to become models or something(America's next top model). Anyway I'll be watching it and sit there, glued to the tube. I'll get into it, the drama, the squabbles, the romances, etc. All the while the wife is cooking or cleaning or doing something. Something will happen and then I'll start laughing and asking her if she saw what I was laughing about.  Well she wasn't, and not only wasn't she, but she also doesn't care for the show because according to her: "It's all a bunch of young attractive women trying to stab each other in the back to be a supermodel."
I'm a little upset with her not wanting to share in my delight of this particular show but then I realize she's 100% correct. It doesn't make me want to stop watching it but from then on I made sure that I keep it to myself. I realize that her confidence doesn't exactly grow while I watch that show.
Ok here's another thing. My face. I'm really sort of intermittent when it comes to my beard and mustache. My wife absolutely hates it. When I say hate I'm talking "withhold" if you get my meaning. That's a code-word for not getting any sex. Yeah some days I just want to feel scruffy. Well, it get's more complicated. After a while I kinda began to stray by the use of some internet porn(which she knew about the whole time). Well my wife is as smart as they come. She knew this and decided to hit me in my weakspot. After a long while of me not getting any by the use of the internet she decided on plan-B. What's plan-B you ask? Yeah I did too. So the next day, my three-year old daughter walked right up to me and started rubbing my cheek. She said and I qoute, "Daddy you have face owwies! Your face hurts! You need to cut your face owwies!"  I kinda sat there for a minute and wondered if it was planned. Well then she did it. As I stood there, she looked up at me in the only way a three year old daughter can to her father and said, "Please Daddy?" Let me just say that the 'face-owwies' were off in a matter of minutes. I came out of the bathroom with a chin as smooth as an infants buttocks and my wife started laughing, and clapping, and dancing. I knew then that I was fooled. I can honestly say, fooled or not, that my daughter keeps me inline nowadays. Somehow she remembers and reminds me if I start to get too scruffy. I guess life is funny like that.
Ok everyone with a weak stomach leave immediately. The mods might delete this next part and I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
In the mornings my wife has a set schedule. When I say 'set' I mean that she goes through the same routine every damn day. Well, I wake up early sometimes. There was this one morning when I woke up and started my routine. My routine has already been described in another thread I believe. To make a long story short, she was blow drying her hair and brushing her teeth in the bathroom before work. Well on that particular morning, I decided to change my routine a bit. I usually wake up, drink a cup of apple juice, make the coffee, and hit the net. After the net I usually eat a bowl of raisin bran. Well on that particular morning I skipped the coffee and went straight for the bowl of raisin bran. Something started rumbling in my lower intestines and I was literally running to the nearest restroom. The one in the hallway is closer and is used by the kids. Well my kids don't keep it as clean as I'd like them to if you know what I mean. So I passed it and walked right in while my wife was doing her toothbrushing and blow-drying. Yeah that was not good. Not good at all. Her mouth was closed over toothbrush so she was being forced to breath with her nose. Let me try and explain how angry she got. Hmm, let's see... At first she started screaming and looking at me. I couldn't understand what she was saying but I knew she wanted me out. She was half-dressed, hair was half curled, and her teeth were half-brushed. You can imagine the oderiferous speedbump she encountered that morning. It was bad even for me. She started hitting me with her toothbrush to get out but she didn't understand that I was still doing my 'business'. I couldn't move so I just took her toothpaste swings and then she finally gave up. She didn't even try to unplug the hair-dryer. She simply ran out with a toothbrush, hair-dryer, and her clothes. I felt bad about what I did but I had to go. I should have used the other restroom but I tortured her instead. I told her I was sorry but I don't think she'll ever forget it.
Ok there's a few of the kinds of things my wife has to put up with me. I figured it would be a nice addition to a man-haters thread. I just want to say to women that I'm sorry for some of my manly setbacks and next time, I'll use the other restroom.
