Death of an Innocent
I was going through some of my things from high school that i had packed up in boxes (i am re-packing things fro the BIG move) and i found this and thoguht you people should read it and decided to post it...
I went to a party mom, I remembered what you said. You told me not to drink, mom, so I drank a soda instead. I really ffelt proud inside, mom, the way you said I would. I didn't drink and drive, mom, even though the others said I should. I know I did the right thing, mom, I know you are always right. Now the party is ending, mom, everyone is driving out of sight. As I got into my car, mom, I knew I would get home in one piece, because of the way you raised me, mom, so responsible and sweet. I started to drive away mom, but as i pulled into the road, the other car didn't see me, mom, it hit me like a load. As I lay there on the pavement, mom, I hear the policeman say, the other guy is drunk, mom, and I am the one who will pay. I'm lying here dying, mom, I wish you'd get here soon. How ccould this happen to me, mom? My life just burst like a balloon. there is blood all around me, mom, and most of it is mine. I hear the medic say I will die in a short time. I jsut wanted to tell you, mom, I swear I didn't drink. It was teh others , mom. The other's didn't think. He was probably at the same party as I, the only difference is, he drank and now I will die. Why do people drink and drive, mom? It can ruin your whole life. I'm feeling sharp pains now, pains just like a knife. The guy who hit me is walking, mom, and i don't think it is fair. I'm lying here dying and all he can do is stare. Tell my brother not to cry to mmom, tell daddy to be brave, and when I go to heaven mom put daddy's girl on my grave. Someone should have told him, mom not to drink and drive. If only they had told hime , mom I would still be alive. My breath is getting shorter, mom. I'm becoming very scared. Please don't cry for me , mom, when I needed you, you were always there. i have one last question, mom, before I say good-bye, I didn't drink and drive, so why am I the one to die?

About, 22% of the teenagers in her shcool die like that(drinking) One of her freinds died in the way above.

I've heard that before. The Students against drunk driving (S.A.D.D.) have been usuing that story for years to try to deter the kids from drinking. It's sad but I think it works.

Its a pity know that that is true (is not a simply story) but i feel more pity for the hundred millions of poeple that day in wars only because a leader say "thats dont like me". I feel pity for the hundred of childs that are daying of hangry (and the worst: wen i say daying i say stop there live) daying of hangry only because the leaders want to take three mansions five cars and more.
And the thing that make me more down of all is look me and say me "¿Way i not crying?,a lot of innocents day, my granfather day, and i not crying. I want cry but i cant i dont feel the pity that them deserve".

So, it is not cool, i thought people should read it, I have had lots of friends to die that way, as grunan mentioned earlier, so there is not a need to be rude over it!! Five of my friends died in highschool all in the same month in that very way..... It is sad that people don't think about other people before they get behind the wheel of a car after they have been drinking. I saw on the news last night where this guy was drunk and he wrecked into this ladies car and all 5 of her children got killed and he walked away with only a concussion and now they are letting him go free, because of some depression thing they say he has......

I just said it wasn't cool...
In my opinion it's sad...
And FD: You don't drink and drive, but if someone else does you are not protected! he may kill you as well.

Anyway, I do feel sad about those people
whose life is killed by drunkards and those
who drink and die by accidents.I also do pity
those who has lost friends and family because
of drunkards.
Like DK said, it is not cool..
and its never cool......

Yea I completely quit everything like, the 11th of this very month. Thats a certain thing but I might drink a few times but definatly no time soon.
Drinking and driving sucks.
