The Monastrey Oak

This bar is featured in one of my own fantasy books 'The Lady-In-Waiting'

"The Monastrey Oak looks rather like an oversized thatched cottage from the outside. But when one gets close enough to the manure-stained cobbles they can hear the glorious sing-song from inside. Inside you will find Bren the barmaid serving up grogg. She may look dainty with her red hair and shapley curves but she is ever mindful of the mace hidden under the bar, ready to settle trouble makers disputes.
The customers are a mixed bunch. Trolls sit in corners giving off an odour that would convince anyone that they had died and started decomposing. Dwarves have regular drinking competitions. This is ill-advised because the average dwarf can handle very little alcohol before acting like a complete fool, but they try none the less.
Various tradesmen drink away the disturbing memories of the day. Wizards will sit giving an unhealthy knowleagable stare suggesting they know more than they're telling. Young gangly knights crowd gufawwing in glee as they try to drain a tankard of 'Old Admiral Jones' Scurvy Mix'. And every now and then one of the aristocrats will try and 'slum it' with the masses. They never last long."

So what do you all think? Go ahead and use your own characters in The Monastrey Oaks. You never know you could give me ideas. (I would never however take an idea without your permisson first)

A huge undead dwarf wielding a large battle axe with glowing blades enters, locates a free table, sits down, raises his arm with four fingers up, and shouts 'Oi! Give me four pints of beer! And make it snappy!'

A gnome sitting in a corner took a swig from his mug and muttered 'Old Woockardo must be having a bad day.'

Bren the the Barmaid drew close to the dwarf. The old miner had been notorious around these parts since he had lead an army of dwarves out of a caved in mine shaft. He had saved many lives. The enchanted battle/pick-axe at his side was a present from the great wizard Atticus Gredmond. It glowed red to warn the dwarves of disturbances underground.
Spiffy the gnome, who had so momentously announced the bad-tempered old creatures arrival, climbed down off his stool. This took him some time with the stool being more than three times his height. He was a known merchant around the area who specialised in 'goods that had fell of the back of a coach "wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more"'
"You alright, mate?" called Spiffy up to the dwarf. The gnomes were the only creatures apart from leprechauns that the dwarves could really look down on so Old Wookardo made the most of it.
"What you want?" gurgled Wookardo through a mouthful of grog and beard.
" A business propositon, my man." declared Spiffy in mock posh style
"Why would I want to talk to you, Troll Sweat?" said Wookardo rounding on the little gnome.
"Hey...it's not my fault if i have a glandular problem." whimpered Spiffy, slightly hurt but defiant none the less.
"Well that explains the smell," teased the dwarf "but what about your face?" no sooner had the words escaped Wookardo's lips, Spiffy was on him tugging at his great grey beard (and putting up rather a good fight for someone with the physical capacity of a Squirrel)
"You son of a sludge monster!" cried Spiffy embedding himself moreso in Wookardo's facial hair.
WHAM!!!!!
A huge force like a gust of wind blew the two apart and opened th door of the public house at the same time. In the mist stood Atticus Gredmond.
"Now boys..." smiled Gredmond.

Oh, come on - most of what you've said collides with Woockardo's bio - you should've asked me about posting this stuff first.

Don't put your silly dwarf in my story unless you want me to use artistic license like I said the people in the story are from my novel. I have a dwarf called Bruntwick and a gnome called Spiffy. You introduced the idea of these two races but also mentioned the name Wookardo so i had to follow on with that name. How am i supposed to be aware of some ridiculous dwarf you've created and stick by the rules of his character unless you define what his personality, attributes etc actually is.

Well, this is the only rp thread on this board (cept the OUAT series and such) in which one of the members used another guy's character without the guy's permission. I will delete my posts in this thread this week.
