n00b has some questionz ..

I dont know how to make imps and gogs completely die , should i stand with tank troops in start-positions, and let those fodders move in combat map's center?

As long as your fodder is the only unit A.I. can reach then tha is what it will hit unless you are attacking
range units. If you cast slow on the unit attacking your fodder it will finish them off for you.
If you think that the fodder is going to outlast the A.I. you can always use frost ring or inferno against your own fodder, being careful not to hit the attacking A.I.

inferno is a great town as stiven said use gogs and imps for deamons and upgrade lvls 3-7 others then if time and gold.

inferno is a low hp town and exspensive but therre overall very fast and strong. randoms maps get sultans and pit lords and bring all lvl 1 and 2 and others from towns ect. make deamons from them and that. deamons are good.

heroes: Pyre, Nybmus ayden and deamon girl. i usally use a differnt town type heroes.

I personally upgrade to Pit-lords after Efreet sultans.
-The sultans are fast, can fly over walls in a siege, and fire shield can sometimes get in extra casualties.
-Pit lords have the raise demon ability and are great melee attackers. I've been surprised several times by their ability to cut down numbers in stacks I didn't think was within their limits. Also, their the key to hoarding demons from dead stacks.

tossers:

If random map and quite rich one go for efreets first week, next week try and upg. to pit lords as soon as possible and start collecting demons. Use the imps and gogs as food and possible creatures from 2nd town.

Better stay with your Rampart tossing Stiven noob...week 2 on rdm I NEVER go for pit lords, how can u if you want to get devils and a acceptable money build?
Pit Lords is for week 3 earliest, your food doesnt run away and theres lots possibilities for demon transforming later...
if you are that rich that you can afford a upgrade it has to be sultans.

Time enuf to play around wif the pitlords.

Another Q: is it true that in rdms wif playing Inferno u'll have more dwellings than other towns?
I believe it is.

That's a good question, Kuma. =\

I myself wonder if you might use this tactic: can you resurrect 2 demons from a dead efreet? Seeing how the efreet has over twice the hp...

Either way, combine Familiars, Pit Lords and Efreet Sultans in a siege.
- Familars take the arrows;
- Efreet Sultans fly over the walls;
- Pit Lords resurrect the Efreet Sultans for a longer battle.

This has quite some effect when you want to weaken the enemy with secondary heroes that have these creatures.

Magogs are great castle defenders. Combine them with Demons or Horned Demons for a bigger chance of a successful defense.

~~~~~~~~~~
I myself kinda have something with the Inferno. A friend of mine who plays Heroes III as well is someone I love to call Pit Lord. He dislikes that.
I´m not 100% sure, sacrifying Sultans to raise Demons is a very good tactic though....
However, a counter to the resurrection is available for the opponent. The opponent can easily move the archers on the hex where the demons were slain. This is too brilliant for AI to do so, though. So make sure your fellow opponent won't read this.
Demand an explanation!
What advantage is this: 500 Familars = 57 Demons!
I get Sultans as soon is posible and make Archdevils!
The hero is Ayden or Zidar!
Demoniac sucks!
I haven't played Inferno much so I'm not very good at it. One problem I have is a matter of disipline. I tend to worry too much about farming, when I should be doing something else. I will take my hero in one direction because I see fertile farmland, when I really should be going in a different direction. All my experience with other towns tells me I should do one thing, but with Inferno I do something else. I might avoid a fight I can win because the scout bringing new fodder hasn't gotten there yet....instead of doing the fight I should, I do something else until the fodder arrives.
I guess it's a matter of finding a balance between farming and all the other things that need done. But I've never been able to find that balance.
I once had around 280 demons early week 4 on jebus. I got the final peace of the healthcombo mid week 3 in the t-area. With that you make 1 demon from 4 imps.
With big maps a strategy I find works is trying to find an Inferno town to attack first. If you can invade an Inferno town you have the option of getting Castle Gate (just like town portal) and with you troops left at home able to be used for defending both towns you now have a two good points to launch attacks on the other towns.
Fast expansion is the key to victory vs human players. If your opponent doesn´t have enough time to become stronger, u can kill him more easy.
Not only that but choose the hero whos specialty is inferno , tech mage guilds and pray for implode.
If u rely on might heroes instead, u don´t have to pray for any spells. Pure (might) power is always available..
Your Xyron (inferno speciality) won´t help ya in the first 2 weeks, coz u won´t have enough spellpoints to kill all the creatures on the map. But in those 2 weeks, your (human) opponent has already cleared most (if not all) of his area and is on his way to visit you..
