Speaking of Music...Your Favorite Concerts

As I mentioned seeing the Smiths first date in the USA in the music thread, I started thinking. Please if you know Year also I think This is Important or at least mebe the record the tour was possibly for. I have seen many bands in recent years because I just had too, too bad I couldnt see them in their heyday if u know what I mean.

Smiths - First US date at Danceteria in NY

New Order - Power Corruption and Lies Tour 688 Atlanta

King Crimson - Red tour Just when they reformed with Adrian Belew Agora Ballroom Atlanta

The Residents with Snakefinger 688 Atlanta

REM - heh about 1980, I had ticket 0, they were Hired by the University of South Alabama and a Frat Band warmed up for them. Most people left when the frat band finished. I think there was 10-20 of us there to see the show

Roxy Music- Even tho this show was a couple years ago. one of the Finest shows I have ever heard. Chastain Park Atlanta

The Clash - Combat Rock tour New Orleans, LA

Talking Heads - Remain in light tour Agora Ballroom Atlanta

The Tubes - Way later than I would have liked to see em but still great sound. Atlanta 2001

Cocteau Twins - Center Stage theater, Atlanta

George Thorogood and the Destroyers - His 50 Dates in 50 States tour. (he played 50 different states in 50 days) Mobile Al

Oki Zuddiekins, here we go...

Oasis @ Knebworth, 1998 (?):- The definitive Oasis gig, back when they were still good (What's The Story...? era)

Little 10 @ The Crypt, 2000:- Explosive band.  Shame they have no fans lol

Ash @ St Mary's, 2002:- Ash's comeback tour where they played fan-only venues... wicked

Doves @ Cardiff Uni, 2002:- Wicked new band, really really good

Idlewild @ Cardiff Uni, 2003:- The best scottish band in the world

Coming up this year...

The Bluetones, Electric Six and Justin Timberlake (okay I just fancy the pants off him but so what??)
