Well, u all might look forward to 1st of December, as I prepared a December-special for CHristmas on my web-page

reg

edit: as promised, here is the new version: (allso readable at my page^^)
I also added a text about the Nut Mink!
_______________________________________________________
The Nut Mink (mincus coccothraustres) lives up high in the branches of trees and only comes down to the ground to pick up fallen nuts, seed and fruits. It uses it's strong, short beak to crack nuts and seeds and to cut the off the branches.
The Nut Mink is closely related to the Forest Mink and it's way of life differes only in few, even if vital, points. The Nut Mink's fur is of a brown color, usually lighter then the brown of the Forest Minks. It's limbs are dark brown and the strong, short beak is yellow. Young Minks have an orange colored beak-point. Durin the breeding-season, the point of the male Nut Mink's beak gets colored in green, blue and orange, to attrackt females, this colored horn-layers fall off again after the season. The Nut Mink uses it's arms mostly to climb trees or to hold the nuts and seed before cracking them with it's beak.It has strong legs for doing long jumps from tree to tree.

Gender-Differences

Generally, a female Mink differes from a male Mink only in it's scent and fur, wich normally is slightly puffier and thicker than the male's.
But during breeding-season, the differences are much more clear.
What all Minks have in common is, that they, once connected, stay together for their whole life.

The biggest difference is between the females and males of the Nut Mink (mincus coccothraustes) during breeding-season.
The male Nut Mink gets a colored beak to attrackt the females.
The male Nut Mink searches for a treehole. If it can't find a suiting hole, it bulds a rather large nest into the branches of a tree. You can often see many Nut Minks building their nests on the same tree. This colonys might be built to gain more security due to the strength of the group. After the male Mink has either built it's nest or found a hole in the trunk, it starts to collect nuts, berrys and dry leaves wich it uses to decorate the nest. Then it sits down in front of it and starts singing. Once a female Nut Mink gets attrachted by the song, the male shows off his beak and nest to show the female that it will be a good partner to bring the youngs save into adulthood. The female Nut Mink lays two to three brown eggs with green spots on it. The female Nut Mink breeds on the eggs, while the male care for food.

The behaviour for the single, yet known, Mink races is very similar in this matter, but all with more or less big differences.
A good example for a bigger difference is the River Mink (mincus aquaticus):
Unlike other Minks, the female River Mink is to attrackt a male one. When the female meets a male, it starts to sing and dance, to get it's attention. While dancing, the female shakes it's fur and whips it's tail. The dances mostly end with a high jump, when possible into a near river or lake. After the copulation, the male River Mink builds a nest at the shore of a lake or river and covers it in the vegetation. Then the female lays two black eggs. Both partners alternate in breeding. Therefor they allso alternate in feeding the partner.

A Cinnober Mink-male (mincus rubens) gets a large red chinn-bag under it's beak that allows him to sing and cry real loud. Besides it is an impressive view for passing females. Often two Cinnober Minks charge each other and hit each others chinn-bag with their own. Those fights are held to impress the females. The male Cinnober Mink wanders around in it's area and crys and sings to attrackt local females. When a female mink accepted partnership, they both build a circle of stones that is padded with grass and fur.
The female Cinnober Mink lays one red egg with lighter red stripes on it. It breeds for ~ one month. The male supports with food during this time.

Male Forest Minks (mincus arboris) dig a little pit under a bush or between the roots of a tree. They decorate it with leaves, branches and flowers. Then they sing to attrackt females. When a female comes by, the male swiches to fast "ick, ick, ick!" and "nuck, nuck, nuck!" sounds and wanders around in the nest-pit on all fours. The it lays down and makes long "neeeep" sounds. If the female accepts, 'she' applys some changes to the decoration and lays, after the copulation, one to four brown-sprinkled eggs. The male Mink breeds for one and a half months and the female supplies food during that time.

A Striped Mink-male (mincera tigris) builds a little nest in the tall grass and decorates it with pebbles, leaves and some hairs of it's own fur. Then it starts to cry high "zieek, zieek" and "ick, ick, ick" sounds that can be heard over a distance of about one mile. When a female comes by, the male Striped Mink starts to walk around the nest, showing all the decorations, rubbing it's head in the soft fur-parts, it shedded for decoration. while presentating the nest, it makes a long, low "groooo"- like noise.
A female Striped Mink lays two yellow eggs with brown stripes, so they are well covered in the tall grass. Both partners alternately breed for about two months.

Last, but not least, the male Common Mink (mincus mincus):
The male digs a nest-hole into the ground near a lake. Then it sits into it, making sure that the sun gets reflected by the shiny, silver hairs that grew for attracting the females and starts clapping it's beak like a stork. When it succeedes in attracting a female, the hole will soon get filled with three white eggs and the female Mink, breeding them for ca. 1 month.
Common Minks often buld breeding colonys near larger lakes, it is very nice to watch all the male Minks clap their beaks on the shore.

I have the feeling that most artists have it that way:
They are sad cos they will never be able to see/hear/whatever their works for the first time, or with a clear and curious mind. Maybe it's worst for writers, since they will lose the "element of surprise" when they read their works, as you said...

Let me guess what will happen in future episodes.
Bork the fruitmonster escapes from prison and takes his revenge by making a suicide attack and blowing up himself during the party.
The result is that all minks, fruitmonsters, truntles die, except one poor little mink, which survives and
but that's a different story

Hey, even is some1 said that the sad part would be that the content of our story was too realistic, I dont think that Woock will write about a suicide-attack of Bork the Fruitmonster
