North Land OOC
Okay for those of you interested and participated in the RP here are some of the facts about the North Lands
Geographay:
-the North Lands are the north part of a greater continent borberd on the east by the ocean, on the North by the northern sea(Eliduin - Ethiel) and on the east by the Urien Mountains on the south it is the end of the Mithenor forest
Races:
As I said they are - Dwarf- Mountain dwarf and High Dwarf
Elves- high elves, forest elves, mountain elves, frost elves, drow
Humans- of any kind
Forstlings
Halflings or Hobbits
Orcs, goblins
Kingdoms
Human:
Erethion- main allies of the elven kingdom of Mithenoberin... most good, on the east side of the continent King is Conuthin II
Their army is strong based mainly on strong infantry flanked by a quick cavalary
Isimaldon- a rather unstable land, their allinment changes on the ruler who is currently Werion a strong a nd powerful ruler, quite unpredictable(true neutral)
Army is based on their archers but consist of many rouges and other such-like individuals
The Colony of Erethian - this colony is south of erethion on the southeastern coast dependent on Erethion
Dwarven- the dwarfs only have one kingdom which is the Kingdom of Dweret on the North bordering Isimaldon and Mithenoberin the elven kingdom, only has two major cities Bir -- Narak and Uthemar...allied with Mithenoberin
The Dwarves also have many city states in the mountains in the ladn
Frostlings
The frostlings control the island of Norot except the elven city of Lorin-currently at a truce
Frostlings are raider, their kingdom also has a lather significant human population
Elven
Unitement of Mithenor - a treaty organisation of the forest elves living in the Mithenor forest to fight against orcs, goblins and the drow
Main cities are Mnanin on the east, Evion int he central part , Meinon in the west and Ismilis in the north east of the fores which lays on the very south of the North Lands
Mithenmembrion - the drow kingdom, main enemy of the Mihtenoberin, there are many hints of cooperation between them and Isimalion, beacuse of the many powerhungry feudals in the kingdom
A cult of spider of worshipers is currently in power, but there is a force inside the kingdom which longs for reunitemtn with Mithenoberin. The Unitment of ten it is called, beacouse of the ten city states on the north border with Mithenoberin in contact with the Elven army
Mithenoberin
The Elven kingodm on the northeast. Devide into a few divisions. On the north are the frost lands mainly inhabited by the frostelves, on the east by the Mithenerien river which is the border wiht Isimaldon are the River Lands, inhabited mainly by forest elves
In the Center is the Golden Valey wiht the capital of LitiAnor(Golden Leaf)
And in the south is the bordering region with the Drows the Green Forest main city is Mani -Anor(Green Leaf)

Leon Noel is one of the oldest and wisest living elves of all time. When he was young his family was killed by a group of barbaric orcs, since then he devoted his entire youth to killing orcs, finally, when wounded in battle, he was captured and taken prisoner, however he was not mistreated, while captive to the Orcs, he learned about their culture. However one day an Alliance of Dwarves, Elves and humans raided and killed every orc, this time it seemed as if They were the barbarians. After being freed, he realized that all mortals were the same, regardless of race. He spend the rest of his life in isolation, studying, training and meditating till the time he makes his presence felt in the world. Young Adventurers, Kings and Generals have all come to his remote island in search of advice, and it is denyed to no one.

I think that if you provided a good backstory, this thread might begin to grow. As of now, no one has anything to go off of besides the description of the lands and peoples. This has promise, but it's hard to get the people in the Glade motivated sometimes.

Key was a thief. Ever since abondonment she had been. She had adopted the name Key for her uncanny ability to open anything, even the thoughts of others. She was the assistant of her leader, Vince, for becoming the greatest supplier in the gang. But now she was becoming restless. Or bored. She had traveled too much around the tiny city and wanted something more purposefull to do with her time. Today was no exception. Tucking back her blue dyed hair, she crept out of the Den and to the tavern so she could "earn" some money and maybe have a few drinks.

bio: i was found in the forest by an elf, skilled in spellcasting. she lived in the mountains of the dwarven kingdom cut off from the world. she taught me her ways and developed my skills. she also taught me how to lurk in the shadows and steal what i may need. she also taught me that i may fall into close combat and so i learnt how to use daggers and short swords. she then passed after teaching me all she knew. her last words were for me to use what i know and to go and see the world and that how i ended up here(where ever here is).

Now just start the story of your character, in a free way and once the story expands you'll all fall into place.

Key:
After earning the weeks pay, Key decided she was headed out of town. She had saved up for this and had plenty to live on for the road of weeks. Picking up the last of the tavern's "traveling rumors" she went on her way. Shovving daggers in hidden places, she threw on a light cloak and packed a heavy one for the road, then simply walked through the city gates. She was gone, and glad for some adventure. The first three night s were great, she hunted with her bow and ate marvelous meat. She slept comfortably atop her cloaks. She could finally sing and no person would hear. The fourth day came around and at midday she decided t'was time for a break. Sighing, Key threw her stuff down under a tree and rested her back agains't it. She took out her fife and played a couple tunes before nodding off against the tree.

The History of the North Lands
Chapter One: The Begining
The legends speak of the whole conntinent of Monizar for a long time.
It is said that when the forces of nature crafted the world special attention to this continent.
Crafted out of the solar wind, the cosmic dust and the force of nature.
Nature crafted the world beautifully. It's thick and dense forests, wast plains, the winding river valleys, the high mountains, it's lakes and long rivers. Every small creek and bush was crafted and designed by Nature.
Soon Life was given to the continet. Many creatures made it their home. Bugs, insects, wild animals, every creature found something special about this continent.
Of the wild animals especialy wolves were plentifull. There are believes that inteligent societies of these animals exist somewhere in the forests living together with the forest Elves.
Not only animals inhabited this continet, but races of all sorts found home here.
The cold frostlings of the North, Mountain Dwarves, Wild Elves, even goblins and humans founded small societies here.
For years the peoples of this contient lived in their original composition and undisturbed.
Thats when one day white ships were sighted by the eleves on the North Western coast were sighted.
These ships were of the Elven folk. Lead by the High Elven Paladin Tol'Eoin this fleet consisted of many ships and elven folk all looking to make this continent their home.
Soon after their landing they made friendly contact with the Wild elves and started inhabitting the continent. They brought along the Forst, Dark and River elven folk.
But their arival would not go unnoticed and without consenquences.
That's how the quite age ended. The Arival of the White Fleet marking it's end and brough along a new era.
Chapter Two: The First War
The comming of elves signified a new era in the history of Monizar.
Not only because of the cultural changes after their arival. Teh elven folk began rebuilding the original Wild Elven cities and founding many new great cities all around the continent.
The foudnig of cities such as Mani-Anor(Gold Leaf) the Capital of the United Elven Provinces, the Great Port city of Enianor, the city of Vetar ar just a few among the large number of the cities build under the First Rule.
As mentioned many cities underwent reconstructions, such as Mani-Anor or the large and ancient city of Izbiril.
The Elven folk began dominating the land in all areas of life. Many great bards come from this era such as the fair Torak or Uthien who sang songs of the Elven heroes of other Lands.
Many great statutes and buildings were erected.
The Twin Giants at spot where the Mithérien meets Oberéien river. The Two huge 75 meter high statues representing the Forces of Life still dominate the junction of these two rivers.
The construction of the great mountain fortress in the east also began.
This large defensive structure was to be the defensive stronghold against the everincreasing Goblin hordes in the east.
Much else was done by the elves but other thigns were happening.
The mystrerious arival, or creation?,of the High Dwarven race began a new era to the Dwarven people.
The High Dwarves brought along their misstrustiong othe Elves meaning that the relationship between these two peoples cooled down rapidly.
The High Dwarves brought along new construciton and mining techinques which lead to a logical expansion of their reigns.
The old cities increased in wealth and new and greater ones were founded.
Not much of the dwarven deeds from this era is know because very few remains fo the remain. All that is known that this was probably the high point of their civilization.
Generaly the First Rule was a time of expansion. But not only of the better and positive things but also evil began to stir.
The Orcs arived. Not know from where but it is probable that it was from the east and that they were following the elven folk, looking to rid the lands of them.
But their late arival left them surpirsed. The elves had found this place home and made friends and allies here.
So the orkish hordes were looking to set base in these lands too. They foudn friends and allies in the evergrowing population of goblins and began to take place in the head of their folk and rule their lands.
In the middle of this era the first Frostling settlers began to colonize the North Isles. Not much is know of them at the time because they choose solitarity and didn't contact the outside world too much.
The Humans remained small and quite. Without any help outside the continent they could not possible match the great elven folk and quietly awaited their time.
The orcs in the mean time looked to end the elven rule. After ammasing a huge force under the rule of the prince Volik they marched from the east to towards the great elven forests.
Volik was one of the more witfull and inteligent Orcs. His plans showed that his tactical thinking was at the level of an Elven General. But his brutal and orcish roots could not be denied and this was probably his weak point. His origin and the origin of his armies.
The nubmers he commanded neared the nuber of 75'000.
Such force could not be overlooked. The elven outposst and scouts on the eastern Mithinari plain soon noticed the army marching westward and raced home to alarm the armies.
But the first victims were not elves. Before assaulting the forests Voliks army had to cross the Ebilis river and the small mountain range of Nionit and the Dwarven cities there.
The dwarves expected the arival of the army and were well prepared to defend themselves. The Orcish emmisaries headed to the cities to negotiate surrender.
Meanwhile the elves were allarmed and deciding what action to take. Rather to sit back and defend the Forest boundaries or to take action and head to aid the Dwarves. The Armies to defeat the Orcs were given under command to two Elves. The first was a great and elder general, Othelius. One of the greatest tacticians and commanders ever to walk the continent.
The second was a warrior of almost unmatched skill in the Elven lands at the time, Martén.
The dwarves meanwhile rejected the option to surrender and decided to defend themselves. There were five cities in total amasing togather 25'000 soldiers. Volik split up his troop and laid siege to the cities.
The first assault was on the cities of Ezgon. Te orcs attacked with great power and destruction. Even that the defenders fought bravely they were overcome and thier cities raided.
After his succes Volik order a second assault on the besieged citie of Et-Ferul.
The dwarves knowing what their faliure would cost them prepared and severly crippled the first couple of waves of assaults. But afther two siege towers succesfully breached the walls the orcs and goblins swarmed in.
Dwarves chose rather death in combat then enslavement and looting they fought to the last one. Even children and elders fought for their lives.
None remained to tell the tales of the battle and the cities was razed and crushed to ruins.
After these news it was decided that the Elves go and help the Dwarven lands.
The army marched out. Althoug their forces were only about 40'000 and the orcs still outnumbered them. They were certain of their victory.
After two first victories Volik decided to strike the third city of Bir-Nion, the main city of the region.
Volik thought that after the first two brutal victories and their aftermath the dwarves here would be terrified of his forces and would crack easily, therefore he did not bother with greater strategy. But not even that would have helped him here.
The city was under command of the High Dwarven lord Labruch.
He had drawn up a defensive plan of a mastermind. Boiling oil and flaming bolts and arrows were set up. Balistas and catapults were readied on the city walls.
Flaming boulders drowned in oil were fired at the assaulters and flaming balista bolts were firied at the Orc and Goblin attackers. Those who reached the walls were boiled in oil and under rain of flaming arrows they retreated.
Volik was broken after this unsecsfull seige he lifted the remaining two sieges and headed elsewhere.
Meanwhile the elven army was fast out of the forest and nearing the the end of the Mithinari plain and the small forest just behind the crossig of river Ebilis.
There the Elves set up ground and awaited Voliks armies.
Volik not knowing of this and being recless in scouting crossed the river after two day of the elven arival.
Immediately after their arival hell was unleashed and the first true massive battle began.
The orcs and goblins were stunned. Elven infantry charged backed by a massive rain of arrows onto the routing orcs.
Volik gathered and rallied his troop and tried to set up ground. As the elves approached he unleashed his most powerfull weapon. Heavy Cavalry.
Creating a corridor in his back lines he readied them there awaiting the command to strike.
Seeing this Othelius moved the archers and the back lines of infantry back to the small forest. The right wing was under the command of Martén consisting mostly of Dark Elven guard. Supreme fighters of their folk who voulentiered to serve in the force. Once the frontlines of infantry neared reached the gobling positions the corridor widened and Heavy Orcish Cavalary. The First line crumbeled and turned to reterat to the rest of the army in the forest.
Cavalry and the rest of the army followed them. The charge was lead by Volik himself right into Otheliuses positions who had allready set up a defensive perimeter around the archers and the infatry was well ready for the comming strike. Leting the remaining fleeing frontline infantry behind them to regroup they braced for the aoncoming Voliks army number still around 40'000.
The defensive prerimeter consisted of about 10'000 infantry and 15'000 archers.
Volik struck with full power but the elves were prepared and din't move back. Fighting began on the defensive lines. Volik lead charge after charge to spilt the defensive position.
In the battle rage he didn't notice Marténs forces comming from the right.
Soon they charged against the surprised goblins who were struck down and started to turn back.
Volik was killed in the midst of comabt by sword blow to the head in one on one combat by a young leutenatn Dáni.
The remainder of the orcs retreted and heade back home to the eastern lands.
First Large War was over and won by the efforst of elves and dwarves alike.

"Ivory the once rank 1 kind of elf, the ones you don't hear about in stories took a steep turn.. She joined the Cult of Storms, a secret cult starting in Drow Culture. It's a "secret cult" meaning the ones who govern the lands have no idea of it's existence, and is only shown to people you only know won't betray you."
Ivory grew up as any other drow, but it never felt right. As she grew older, she felt a lust that wasn't fullfilling her, the lust of battle. She has a thirst for knowledge. So instead of becomming a librarian( ) she heard of the Cult of Storms, and decided to join it. Not much is known about Ivory's past.

okay sorry i was ou to ftime for some time and in the next 5 days will be again so the progress has been slow, but don't loose hope soon things will be on the right track agains...
T_R_D...welcome and thanks for joining...feel free to freelance in the plot and write freely. I know that a drow priest will play a very important role in the plot so, you can look forward to it
