starcraft tactics
ok here is the place to talk tactics. u guys should have it since its a fantasy RTS.
here are a few tactics with zerg
tactic 1: this is on brood war. get about 20 hydralisks then evolve them to lurkers. research the overlord transport and speed abilites. then find out where the enemies base is and do a "lurker drop". aim for the main centre first then the gatherers. it is also impotant to block off the points to ur base with sunken colonies because u are attacking with the air.
tactic 2: also a brood war one. get about 10 devours and about 20 protectors(i think thats what they are called). then just attack. the protectors have a long range so destroy the enemy base slowly then use the devours to kill any air guys trying to stop u
ok now lets here some of your tactics

Terran vs Protoss
Science Vessels with EMP Shockwave. You just need good aim and good timing; the game could swing in your favor soon after.
Protoss vs Zerg
High Templars w/ Psi Storm + Zerglings/Hydralisks = blood pools.
Protoss vs Terran
Avoid getting nuked by getting observers early. Build some Spore Colonies around your base area and put more observers farther out from those. Keep fast-moving troops like speed-upgraded Zealots nearby to cut down the Ghosts.
Terran vs Anyone
Hot-key the Sweeper so you can uncover stealth invasions quickly. In fact, build multiple Command Centers to increase your number of sweeps.

Once I had this game, but nowadays I donīt much remember anything from it. Good game it was, though. Maybe I someday will get it again.

Aw, but that takes all the fun out of the game!
Do you mean you cheat on single player, online (ie Battle.net), or both?

ahh yes some good tactics indeed but i only play zerg. i find the others too hard
tactic 3: for brood war, zerg.build some lurkers and station them at cut of points to ur base, at other places which u want to become ur base and a a few a little further beyond the cut off to ur base or attack invaders and strays. u can also place some outside of the enemies base but they will usually die quickly

Seriously, you DON'T want to get into any arguement with me involving any Blizzard game, whether it be Starcraft, Warcraft, or Diablo. You have no idea....

You almost got onto Battle.net, but something seemed to have gone wrong. What happened?
All of a sudden I heard you mention you wouldn't try it again, so I suspect there was something bad about... well, something. I dunno what. Let me know what it was and I'll see if I can remedy it.

I canīt beat even the computer in the skirmish-mode of broodwar. No matter which race Iīm playing or who am I against, they rush me every time in early minutes of the game. Guess I just canīt handle the micromanagement and as-fast-as-possible-troop producing. Only once I survived a bit longer when it was an island map and they couldnīt attack me before they could transport their ground troops and I had time to construct some defense. Every time they have one hell of a overpower.
Itīs actually kinda sad in my opinion that this game bases too much on early rushes and rushes in general.

I once played a 2v2 with nothing but science vessals. litterally. not one marine. (well not literally cause i had SCV's too)
the longer the match the better science vessals are. on this map I managed to build up a force of about 50 sci vessals and my ally went with land troops, he was Toss so he went mass goons.
I would send waves of vessals from the far right all the way to the top with defense shield on, and irradiate anything I saw (priority on drones/scvs (probes you could only take to 1hp, which is nice, but not that great) you can do alot of irradiating with 12 vessals
then once I reached the top I would either head back with whatever is left, or wait it out if the corner was free.
They attacked me with probably there max troops, lings/hydras, and they just fell beneath my flying powers. I lost alot of vessals, but there cheap to buy (unlimited gas and like 50 minerals each)
this tactic kinda works on BGH but not as well, because people tend ot have massive amounts of spore colonies or canons or towers. much harder to get in and even if you do there is so much money there is almost no point, due to everyone having tons of cash.
besides BGH is hardly a micro management game.. I hate BGH but there arent alot of other maps people plan except for ladder matches.

another coupld strats I like to use are.. (p.s. I usualy don't play BW don't like the new units)
Protoss:
Templar Rush. have each templar illusion another once each. then rush into the ennemy base, cast storm on everything. even if there is nothin there, make a giant storm cover their lands, then if you have points left, illusion somemore of their troops (preferably the strongest) and cast as much lightnin as you can.
very easy to run someone out of cash this way. don't expect an instant win though. you can also try and turn the templars into archons in the process but there usualy spotted.
Zerg: defialer meyham, build yourself a dozen or so defialers, and bury them all over the map, occasionaly take them one out and cast a bunch of swarms near the expansion, and plague it. retreat back and hide. this usualy draws all their troops out there because they expect an attack which leaves their other base relatively open. when there troops try to return plague em flyers can't hit you in swarm
Human: Bunker Warz.. (expensivE)
get at least 2 dropships, fill one with a Siege tank, and 3 marines and a firebat, the other with 4 more marines 2 more firebats and 2 scv's
drop these armies onto islands or expansions near your ennemy, build 3 bunkers and a tower (trap your siege tank) put 2 marines a firebat and a scv in each bunker, siege mode the siege tank directly between the bunkers. if they try to send zerglings/ at you they will go for the siege tank and your firebats will destroy them, if they use hydralists/dragoons, your siege tank will destroy them. pull out SCV's to repair as needed if they plague you, scv's can repair them, they can't emp or storm (cept siege tank). only works near the beginning of the map, until gardians/carriers/battle cruisers come into play.

All these are brood war tactics:
TERRAN--
amass large quantities of marines ASAP. They are weak but very effective early-game
for the late game, use siege tanks in siege mode as defense: nothing will get past them if you back them up with SCVs and missile turrets. ghosts with the nuclear strike are also rather powerful... if the enemy doesnt have mobile detectors
ZERG--
early game: zerglings. They spawn in 2s so you can amass huge numbers. For the later game nydus canal with ultralisks is rather irritating, as well as using large amounts of lurkers.
PROTOSS--
my personal favourite
initially focus on zealots.
as soon as you can begin training many dark templar very effective
a group of 3 carriers will decimate most AI bases in one attack, as will the scarabs.

This is a very hard to employ tactic, and because I haven't played SC in forever, and I'm too lazy, I wont say the indivdual details. But I have this thing down to the second, to the probe, to the pylon.
Terran sucks - we all know that, and most of us think zerg is the best. But being a god of SC let me tell you for experts, zerg is the best... but for people who are over addicted, and are gods... Protoss.
Pop out probes until your money supply is always rolling up. Build a row of 12 pylons, with 8 gate ways, 4 on each side. Roll out zealots. Don't build one vespane extractor, unless your REALLY god and can handle 6 things at once (Im dead serious, you need to memorize all CD short cuts, and NEVER wait, always work.). I can get this all done, and my first 8 zealots out in 4 minutes, I'm not kidding. Send one zealot to each potential base, to see where every one is. Take 16 zealots to right out side of their base (this whole time you're also working on you base defence, and rolling out more zealots. NEVER stop building the zealots.), then attack. If you tell them "attack to" they'll go single file, and be killed, one a time, if your opponent is worthy of you. Kill that player, send all new zealots in when they're done building. Even if you know the attack will fail, because of their defenses, keep it going. One solid attack, with reinforcements of 8 zealots every 45 seconds is very good. Rinse Repeat.
I have lost twice EVER with this strategy. One was against two players:
One was good, and knew a good way to marine rush, I attacked him first. My attack kept goining until the
Second player (they were allied against me), who was very slow, and I didn't worry about, brought in scouts. I switched to pumping out dragoons, but it was too late.
The other time I was half-asleep.
Don't bother arguing with me, this is the best strategy. I can obliterate* you with it.
Note: I highly doubt whoever is reading this is a god, other wise they wouldn't be reading this. I doubt in you first 70 or so tries, you won't get it right, and you will lose. THis is not the strategies' fault.
*:
break: to destroy unity or completeness of
destroy: to put out of existence
annihilate: to cause to cease to exist
obliterate: destroy utterly all trace, indication, or significance of
Yes, I will obliterate you.
