Stargate SG-1
any stargate watchers here
i finished watching the 9th season today. has anybody else watched it and would like to discuss???
a few days ago i was on HC and to my suprise i saw this in the ad at the top so i clicked This link.
so has anybody watched the 9th season?

I don't like the new seasons.
General Hammond and Colonel O'Neill being gone sucks. The original seasons were the best.
I'm still not buying Teal'c with hair either.

i dont really like hammond. but mitchell is exactly like o'neill. with the joking and everything
Teal'c and his hair was a bit strange but now him being bald looks kinda strange to me

Like the series this thread looks dead.
Why it died?
Yes the SG-1 without Hammond and deifinetly Jack MacGuyver, the show lost something an spark, the irony sense of humor and the parody, comedy episodes, just where not the same. Valaa was good very in some episodes, but somewhat she didn't fill the hole.
Maybe it was because of lack of new ideas, and better storylines in good days of the SG-1 episodes you couldn't predict what will happen an in the momment you where thinking that you knew how it will end there was the unexpecxted twist in action. The 10 and 11 season episodes so in the atlantis you just knew what i will be and how the things will evolve. It became boring when you see the patterns of the stories used in other sience fiction production that where crudly copied into the SG universe.
Some say that the actors just got enough of. How long you can play in one production it is not an telenovel or something. I think that fan wouldn't mind any changes in cast as long there is something interesting going on in the SG World, something intruging, fascinating. The story sometimes creates the show and the actors are just playing their role and some times it is opposite. But no matter how it will come up on the screen it have to be good quality stuff.
Is there any SG fan alive there
