correction
oops i made a mistake and i logged on and couldnt edit my post 
right the the 20's in the forumula represent the 20% that is given with expert resistance. So i believe with the inteligent heroes replace the twenties with the amount of spell points u would have without the intelligent specialty. Ie with 2 knowledge and expert intel. u would use 20 pts, ignoring the extra points given out by inteligence
Example at
(0.05)(lvl5)(20spell pts) = the points given out by intel specialty. so in this case u get an extra 5 spell points.
i hope this clears stuff up for ya

Ooop, no need for the full results. It seems that I got a wrong concept about magic in rampart.
But it seems unreasonable that an air spell (Summon Air Elemental) is not allowed in rampart while a fire spell is allowed. Not make sense to me at all. Perhaps the NWC guys have their own ideas regarding magic.

I agree here. The little thing is that Rampart is a town of Earth and to some extend- Water. Fire and Air have very little to do with it. Fire Elementals are banned as well, of course. :-)

oh really? i just thought of it as a nature/forest place. Using water and air spells along with earth, but banning all fire spells. I just didn't know that you think of each castle as a type of spell. So does that mean Necro = earth?
I guess i have noticed that castles have more of one type of spell than the other types, but i didn't classify the castles as earth,air,water,or fire.
