A dragon town would either be too powerful or not a dragon town at all (reptile town maybe). Also I think that a full out dragon town might be interesting as a secondary town... like an abandoned one on the map instead of a human starting town. That would be just too damn powerful in the end game... but too weak in the beginning. Xenophanes idea is genius... mixing artifacts with creature buildings... However the Father of the Dragon combo might take a while to find and assemble and what if different players have different parts? Maybe a restoration fee of a hella lot of gold and crystal etc... i dont know... i guess its up to 3DO

 (Vain)If you are going to make a dragon town.. then make a hydra town aswel! Gheheh Because we are the most beautifull creatures there will ever be! Even the female succubus and male incubus aren't a match of beauty compaired with us... the hydra.. PS the black head is always the most beautifull!

The Dragon town is a good idea, but it would require a new class of towns. NPC towns with their own themes; Dragon, Ocean, Ghosts etc. They could make their own Heroes and go out and conquer regular towns, but their Heroes could only use their theme creatures. And if the NPC town is beaten then it is destroyed.

Here comes the troublemaker again...
No, no, no, no...
No dragon towns please...They just make the game imbalanced and if as neutral town that would mean that the whole map would be ruined. The idea would work in one or two maps and then it comes boring...
Better make towns that have each different kind of creatures in them...
Let me guess:
Next thread will be "How about peasant town?"...
In there we could have different kind of peasants and it would be the whole games worst town...Everybody would just love that...and hey if it won't be playable let's just make it neutral...so you wouldn't have to start with it. Might hero could be "common man" and the magic hero could be "his wife".
I think we have really good idea here...

Special towns...
Not bad idea of NPC having their own towns and heroes...
I really like the idea especially if the towns would be destroyed when taken over..

dragon town??? yuck!!!
like people have said before, what's the point in creating such an unbalanced town? i think that we should just stick with the Dragon City (???) where u can attack a combination of dragons for treasure and treasure and more treasure (sort of like in Homm 1 and 2)

Okay, a Dragon Town is a good idea. However, an Angel Town, a Devil Town, and a Hydra town is not because there is no variety.
In Heroes, there are different types of Dragons. Therefore, a Dragon Town would work. However, there is only one type of Hydra, Devil, and Angel. You can't exactly have a Red Angel, a Gold Angel, and a Green Angel. It just doesn't work. That would be going down the path that led to Dungeons & Dragons' destruction. They had too many monsters, along with way too many dorky Dragons:
Gold Dragons, Silver Dragons, PLATINUM Dragons, BRONZE Dragons, TITANIUM Dragons, LEAD Dragons, etc.

These NPC towns need to be strong. They are the Prize at the end of a quest. Or they can be the completion of a goal/level or a game.

A Dragon, or Angel, or Devil Town would be completely boring. You do realise, that a dragon army would move all its troops (Dragons have great speed right?) before a regular army would even wink an eye!

I think a dragontown is not realistic.
How about 'recycling' an utopia?
In an utopia u can transform drags; let's say u wanna transform ur Ghost to a Gold, u pay 1000 gold and 2 crystal and get back 1 mercury.
Or maybe.....
There can be an 'altar' there: sacrifice units worth 500 hitpoints to get a 250 HP drag.
How's that?

Moon Dragon-A Mooncoloured dragon with angel wings on its tail,Head and Back..
Storm Dragon-Giant Dark Purple/Blue Dragon that can controll weather.
Mantis dragon-My favorite dragon.. Half mantis half dragon.
Fire Dragon-Red azure Dragon.
Frost Dragon-REALISTIC name for azure dragon.
Black Dragon-2 Headed Vain Dragon
Wyvern-Poison Dragon witout any amrs...
Forsest Dragon-A green WINGED dragon that has the power to make death plants alive again..
Swamp Dragon-Dark Green WINGLESS dragon.. With Orange hair and Acid Spitting..
Diamond Dragon-A Dragon Made from pure diamond... Strongest creature ever...
