Is Tom Tancredo serious?

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo’s campaign stood by his assertion that bombing holy Muslim sites would serve as a good “deterrent” to prevent Islamic fundamentalists from attacking the United States, his spokeswoman said Friday.

“This shows that we mean business,” said Bay Buchanan, a senior Tancredo adviser. “There’s no more effective deterrent than that. But he is open-minded and willing to embrace other options. This is just a means to deter them from attacking us.”

On Tuesday, Tancredo warned a group of Iowans that another terrorist attack would “cause a worldwide economic collapse.” IowaPolitics.com recorded his comments.

“If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina,” Tancredo said. “That is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. If I am wrong, fine, tell me, and I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent, or you will find an attack.”

Tom Casey, a deputy spokesman for the State Department, told CNN’s Elise Labott that the congressman’s comments were “reprehensible” and “absolutely crazy.” Tancredo was widely criticized in 2005 for making a similar suggestion.

Is he serious? What kind of mental disorder does he have?

I'm sure they are stupid chickens that would cower in fear if that action was taken. Really. Sigh...

Rise Of The Mormons

Tancredo is nothing more than a figurehead patsy for American Mormon right wing activists(soon to be defined as fanatic). I have said it many times before in regards to Israel but no one believes me. The presiding Mormon theology being passed down through the ranks is that of protecting the holy land. From Mit Romney, to Bay Buchanan, to the notorious Mormon cadre that bought into Vegas (in the wake of doomed mob overlordship) and now filling the deep pockets of senate majority leader democrat Harry Reid....Here we see the historic problem of all nations and countries soon to raise its ugly head within the United States.

History teaches us that there is an element of religious fascism in every society. Those elements come to power under the guise of claiming God meant for us to be here in this country, and that somehow means God favors their country over others. This is the same element of society that is not only judgmental but organized revelations incarnate. All of it of course is almost always led by a single secular ruler of some sort claiming to be the certified conduit between God and the people. In other words a prophet seeking to rule by the will of the Lord. Pick a country, any country, and you can reference which religion had complete control over it in its history. America thinks it is somehow immune to history in this regard. It's time we wake up and smell the zealots brimming and ripe for positioning and power shifts.

In the entire history of America no other religious sect has shown nearly half as much fervor and dedication in procuring money and power over this country. Within their holy walls they preach that men preside over women, that God speaks to their prophet, and tithing makes you a more righteous person. And don't forget to wear your C.E.O. sunday best for church. This church actually retains more wealth than every other religion in the world combined. They are the richest religion. Forget what you heard the Germans say about Scientology because the real money and power goes to the Mormons.

Tancredo is simply another ideological extremist.

Consis, I didn't know that Tancredo was a Mormon. There's a higher Mormon:non-Mormon ratio among Republican Presidential candidates then there are in the general public. Also:

No....

I didn't say he was a Mormon, but he does represent a strong rising religious superpower within the church. Militant mormons are no different than militant puritans or state-sponsored catholicism. This is just another sign of what is to come. We Americans are soon to face ourselves for another possible civil war much like every other nation of the world has had to contend with each their own religious militant sects. At current the Mormons are not militant, only power hungry through religious means. Once they take certain key positions in our government it would be like trying to fire a school teacher with tenure. They will be so entrenched in our bureacracy that it would take a civil war to remove them. Once the C.E.O. mormons sieze power their militant sect would attempt a coup de etat. If Americans are ever to face another civil war it would be called some kind of science versus religion civil war with Mormons leading the religious side of it.

At current America is mostly comprised of thousands upon thousands of tiny sects of religions, most of them christian off-shoots. They tend to generally vote together but do not remain exclusive to their sect. The Mormons are almost entirely exclusive with something like 80% support for itself among members. That is and should be seen as bloc voting. Ever wonder how Japan was able to invade and almost conquer China? It is the oldest tactic in the history of warfare: Divide & Conquer. America is divided and is ready for conquerers within its own borders, mainly those groups and affiliations with the greatest degree of organization, money, and political power. The Mormons already have organization and money. What they lack is political power, soon to be rectified.
