"Uh... I don't... think so? Unless there's some sort of super SWIFT attack that never misses... I would be led to believe that a pokemon increasing it's ability to dodge would not impact an opposing pokemon's ability to hit it... I'm probably mistaken... My best advise would be to not listen to a word I say and to use your best judgement! I'm extremely critical of myself lately after a bad... incident... that left pokemon dead and others horribly wounded including one of my own that fought off other pokemon to protect me... It trusted me with it's well being and I let it down... I let... so many down..." I felt tears welling up in my eyes and barely heard the inaudible yelling in my ear... "Hey you call out an attack!" "Ah, sorry, Flaaffy good job, Thundershock the Shuppet again!"

Well, turns out deploying a primarily physical defense steel type against a physical attacker without fighting moves made for a tough wall to punch through. Reducing the mawile’s accuracy won’t stop it from hitting, though. Still, Mud Slap was probably the most effective move, so… “Keep the mud slaps coming, Marick.”
