We agreed upon rules and map aswell.
Only 1 match will take place (Art Of War)
No dv/ No hit-run
We had 3 matchups:
Odiak: Lixue
Inferno (Nymus) vs Necropolis (Zoltan)
Necropolis (Deirdre) vs Academy (Havez)
Necropolis (Orson) vs Dungeon (Eruina)
The second lineup will be chosen by us. Necropolis (Deirdre) vs Academy (Havez)
Game will take place on friday 12th, about 15.00 +2GMT

Strider HL - Pera The Kojot
Victor decided by 2 wins.
Rules:
1. No mirror
2. No Wyngaal (max lvl 5)
3. No native w/m heroes (max lvl 6-7)
4. No mentored kamikazes
5. No DV in final
Maps in this order: Genesis, Sidekick, AoW (if necessary)
3 pairs to be generated right before each game. Each player strikes out one.
P.s. Officially 2nd round starts next Monday, right? Hopefully, we manage to accomplish all 2-3 games by the deadline.

time to get our game working:
As you correctly said, time zones are the problem. I will give you my
time and when we cannot agree, let's ask Kispagat, whether he has a solution These are the dates, I can play Thursday, 17:00-23:00 Sunday 10:00-23:00 All times GMT +1
My Map suggestions are Ability, Dueblo, Battle Zone or Genesis.
Concerning rules I suggest to play nearly without limitations expect
using Instant Travel and no Hit and Run.
Hope we will find time to play.

I just finished with samiekl, master of disguise me Urghat him Yrwanna.
First thing I did I switched to Garuna from the tavern so I could get warmachines easier Took the tier 7 dwelling week 1 with a few losses and during the next one I cleared the mine area and took second town on the last day to build centaurs. I took warmachines rather late.
Week 3 I broke for the middle losing a cyclops against the titans, first sign that flaming and rage had been weakened. Also that lack of tent is freaking annoying. Anyway around that time I got warpath so I cleared middle in no time, attacked the titans in the library and...lost another cyclops. If you have seen the titans act exactly before hero and deal precisely 220 damage to kill one cyclops you know the universe has conspired against you  Aanyway I moved back to the area near second town(where I managed to lose another cyclops vs pack of shadow dragons ****), took utopia that gave the talon crown and staff, then second wood/ore mines that had swift boots nearby 
Next week I went underground, took ring of speed then headed for next underground that I managed to clear first. Meanwhile I had build cyclopes on second town and gotten shout as my last skill, the mentor gave me aura of speed and switched warpath to swift mind. Yes I had no shatters. Samiekl had started towards my area so we met in underground after I bought next week's army - week 5.
Conclusion: Warpath, boots, staff, ring and 4 arties from dragon set can give you badly played games.. I cast battlecry, my orcs charged and that was it. Samiekl had tried a might build but with the initiative against him he could not turn it around.

snow it. I had 29 15 29 16 or so stats, 3 dragon artifacts, warpath, perfect setup, about 10 more dragons than his cyclops and Elvin came at me with ring+staff. Pffffff, What could i do? I'll play with a rule from now on, no ring+staff combo. snow it, i'm so pissed...

Staff+ring is not the end of the world ... Yesterday played vs academy user of staff+ring, rain of arrow+frenzy solve the problem Cases then one player have staff+ring are not so common. Usual even if this happen opponent have initiative boosters too, like ring of celerity, dragon eye, or both ... But yes, in Heroes 5 luck is not the last factor. Played one game with Firedragon and i won, after we for training reason replayed this battle 3 time, all 3 time he won !
To Elvin and Samiekl - in the name of science , maybe it's good idea to replay final battle of this game with ring+staff combo and with out this combo. I think many people will like to see real proofs, not only cry after loosing a game

Nobody is crying dude, Elvin won fair and square. This combination is game braking and it's my opinion. Dungeon doesn't have rain of arrows and frenzy so stop bullsnowting about your games with only 1 faction and 1 hero. Me and Elvin are friends and i'm happy i lost against him and not other player. I just wanted the game to be different than this since i know i made a better game than him (read the part with ~10 more level 7 than him, if you knew something about dungeon you should know that this part is hard to achieve).

Agreed, I should probably set no ring+staff combo in my usual small set of rules. Fair and square it may be but it's no fun.

No fun, less options ... And let's see example - we play with rule no staff+ring and i come to final battle with rain of arrow + frenzy ... Will be this battle more balanced without staff+ring ? Let's ban rain of arrow, let's ban puppet - it's fair to control 2000 dragons by one spell ? Let's ban Power of Dragon full set. Let's ban, ban, ban With so many rules soon we will need advocate to see ho is right winner of game

Which is indeed a good rule. I used it in almost all my games and I can think of some battles, which couldn't have been won if my opp. uses both.
Btw Fiur had a good suggestion, putting the ring and staff in the same slot. (He also made a mod if memory serves).
