Complicated is not necessarily bad. I don't see why the whole unit XP thing would be too complicated, it worked brilliantly in WOG, and if you ever played Civilization IV, I think you'd know why I'm so keen on this system - I think Civ IV has one of the most brilliant unit upgrade systems.

Yeah, I've played it before, the complicated part is when you put together experienced troops with non experienced troops. Unless you just make it easy, say the veterans taught the rookies their skills and they all take the model of the veteran soldiers, but that would make xp gaining way too easy.

I think thats a good idea, Heroes I think needs to be a bit more complicated.  It would be so cool if they made it more grander

I agree, that wouldn't work, it needs to be a weighted average, so that you cannot just take a small stack into battle to level it up quickly and then merge with a larger stack to level it up for free.

Ok, folks.
A - Off topic discusion should be left out of this one. If you want to discuss your visions of alternate upgrading, that's fine by me, in fact, I wellcome it, and discussing how my system differs from yours is fine but please, if you are going to discuss the development open new topic to do it.
B - Which is more acceptable to you people, zombies being higher tier than gosts, or vamps being heigher than litches. Also, what would you prefer mor mumies in zombie or litch lineup?

4 upgrades is a bit much, maybe 2 upgrades and they can be upgraded once more under certain conditions (like if you have at least 1,000/(1.5*level) in the stack, or something).
