Wii Motion Plus
Why has no one mentioned Wii Sport Resort yet? I mean,..
What do you do when you live in small town with no life, and its raining! And you friend is there to visit you. Could there be any better choice than Wii Sport Resort? You can use your energy, you can compete your friend in a line of fun games, (Not waveboard, cyckling and the jet-ski thing)
The motion Plus is a great thing from nintendo! It makes the controls much much better! Golf for an example is like 100% better than the golf in wii sports...
And the Frisbee and Sword games are a great great fun with the motion plus.
How many of you all have the Wii?
(There is so many things to the wii that just makes it the best console if you rate it by fun-factor and not graphic and game selection..
Ofcourse there is always something useless too! The Wii gun, The wii errh steering thing in a car on english??,
But that doesn't matter when you can get Motion Plus and Wii Board.)
The wii gun can be okay if your playing games like Resident Evil 4 and so on, but still waste of money.
The mario kart car stering thing is not worth it at all! Don't buy them.
Wii fit Board is genious if you are like me (Hates working out and training in gyms) And ther is some quite good games in there too!
But damn some of the yoga poses is hard as hell....
The Motion plus us pretty mych the best thing you can get.
EDIT# i remember something about there where alot of wii haters in here (My quess would be that they where fat geeks, but i don't know)
So u hwo hates wii, just ignore this or even better tell why you don't like it (Cuz its pretty much the most sold console)

I'll buy a Wii once a good and realistic sword-duel game is released.
Seriously why haven't one been made? The controller is perfect for it...

In order to mke a universal motion controller, a precision fencing game is impossible, though they tried.

I do not own a wii motion plus yet but I have a wii, I have star wars the force unleashed, zelda twilight princess and SSB: Brawl. although the good fencing game that you're waiting for adrius and DG is coming, 30th november to be exact, the game will be RED STEEL 2. I'm thinking of buying wii sports resort. also I heard there will be a new zelda game released.

Ah yes Dagoth, physical feedback is what it's lacking.
Which brings us to this:
The Novint Falcon.
It ain't got the mobility of the wii controller but it's got supreme physical feedback. I haven't tried it myself but I've heard it's pretty awesome.

snow no, Red Steel 2 will just be a really awesome shooter with decent swordplay elements on the top of that. And really big bunch of cool stuff. And awesome(katana + wild west revolver theme = what can be more awesome?!).
I think i saw somewhere something that looked like it, but i dunno in the end. And motion+ is awesome

@Dagoth: Yeah yeah I know... just wanted to mention it. A mix of the falcon's feedback and and the wii's mobility would be awesome.
@Del_Diablo: I don't like your tone. What's bad about it? The appearance? Have you seen any vids of it? Tried it yourself? Any arguments?

But then again I wouldn't want to fire a gun for real, might be too exhausting.
Let's put this differently. I don't like physical effort when PLAYING games.

Though, I would like to simulate swordfighting without actually feeling any pain.

Nah Carcity, I'm not that much into Red Steel. As a single player action game, yes I'm sure it's awesome, but as a fencing game... nah.
To me the core of the gameplay feels something like this: Dodge, Swing Wii-mote frantically, shoot, dodge, swing... repeat. While that is fun it ain't what I'm looking for.
A question Carcity, in Red Steel 2 can I trick my opponent? If I swing my sword halfway through a strike and then switch direction to a vertical strike, will that work? I bet the game will register that half motion as a strike and fullfill the animation in-game right? Well that's what's bothering me, it ain't free enough.
I have a bunch of other complaints too but it's hard to explain without body language... sigh.
@Death: Yeah but people who buy this thing are looking for a different experience, not beating people online.
