Where's Raelag?

In the last HoF cinematic, Raelag said he will go to the Free Cities to do something about the Dark Messiah

Then why there's no Raelag mentioned at all in DM?

Did he fell from a cliff or his lizard suddenly gone mad and devoured Raelag?

Is there's actually any answer to the question "where's Raelag"?

thx

Fell into a plothole and was eaten by the resident continuity hydra, who choked on his thighbone. RIP.

Who cares? Raelag was such a sucker, and his crush on Isabel was just gross. I liked Agrael better.

Vain as it is, I'm hopeful H6 will take place at some point sufficiently onward in history to allow none or few of the dimwit characters so far to reappear. That way they can create a good story and explain inconsistency in quality by claiming "the leaders showcased in H5 were extraordinarily primitive".

Raelagrael's the only major loose thread and they can explain him away with a line of dialogue.

-Hey man I think we forgot to put something in the storyline.
-Nonsense, tote is complete.
-Seriously take another look.
-Oh for.. fine. Shoot you were right, we totally forgot Raelag. Let's make a short cutscene to give a feeble excuse, maybe the fanboys will think we had long-term plans for him.
-Sounds like a plan

Of course with our luck they WILL do that, but just introduce an entire cast of NEW dimwit characters in place of the old.

Maybe they'd rehash the entire story, but with slightly different names and slight changes to dialogue and appearance.

Ghodrik: "Let's save Bella I's, our queen!"
He said while stroking his massive beard.
"let's go, Eyafre, my son!"
Eyafre: To kill that wicked Galrea!
he said while stroking a slightly less manly, but still wickedly awesome beard.

Galrea: Curses, foiled again!
he said while stroking his wicked awesome curly moustache.
Bitara: We must run!

Guys I have a sudden feeling that Dagothgares completely deserves a QP for that awesome post. Hahhaha.
Anyways, I think they should go back to Axeoth and have Homm5 gameplay with Homm4 storylines...or they could have a sort of Jade Empire storyline, which by far was one of the best video game storylines of all time, of course it for an rpg, but it was still freaking awesome. The replay value is great, and its also pretty cheap! Not to mention that the graphics are pretty good, but dont require a freaking alienware to play!

Anyways, back on topic. If they did place it in Ashan, they had better make an awesome storyline, that has nothing to do with any of those crap characters, and as Bixe said quite a while back, it is in dire need of some nice comic relief, though Agrael's comments(disses) on the elves were nice, colorful, and quite awesome. And please let the main enemies NOT be the poor demons, how about the Elves for once! Sylvan Elves, mind you. Maybe they have become so hippie-ized that they want to purge all of the land of nature haters! Which is basically everybody but them...selfish snows...never liked those guys anyways...Inferno is so much cooler...yeah...I'm in need of some breakfast...how about cheerios?

it'll be great if demons become the protagonist, the inferno demons fighting for their liberation from the underground prison Sheogh against the evil children of Asha lol
although new players will mistaken Ubisoft as a satanist

though I actually much prefer H6 to be on a different universe, after that ending in DM it doesn't seem to fit if there's more stories on Ashan
