Did u ever have a dream (or nightmare) of heroes?
Have u ever played lots of heroes one night and dreamed about it? Or simply have a dream that was mixed with heroes? I was talking to wiggy when I remembered a dream (more like a nightmare of heroes).
I had the flu, and high temperature, and I had a dream I was in the heroes game itself. Several ppl were playing like vesuvius and his roomate and some other players. We were all in this sort of map maze, and we were the heroes on horseback. Only problem was, that when we encountered each other it was fight to the death, and the dying would be real. I remember fighting one of the players very worried i would die and i won but then got really sad that he died forever. It was a very nasty dream! This one comes to my mind the most but any1 else have neat dreams that involved heroes?

lol, I had one:
I had a weird, funny dream that involved Melissa and Vesuvius. I dreamt that I was riding in a van with other ToH people on the way to Arizona (to a hotseat party), and Vesuvius was driving, Melissa was in shotgun, I was behind Rob, Zsa behind Melissa, and 3 other unknown ToH people in the way back.
As we were driving, I fell asleep and had another dream (dream in a dream) where I downloaded a free version on HoMM4, and was playing it. After playing it and beating the cpu (I was castle), I realize that the graphics are as pixelicious (fat pixels) as King's Bounty (that OLD game), and the game was run in EGA graphics (16 colors).
I then woke up from that dream where we were all riding in the van. As I was explaining the dream of HoMM4 to Melissa and Rob, one of the unknown guys from the back (named Mark), told me about the "sad" ToH news how stuff1 was caught cheating. Later on someone mentions (I forget who) how we picked Zsa up from Alabama ... I looked at Zsa, then Rob, then said, "DAMN! That's a LONG way from Alabama to Arizona. Well, I guess that makes it easy to pick me up in Utah for hotseat parties." [note: Zsa lives in Canada]
At this time the van was driving up a hill, streets curving left and right. There came up a right turn where the road was oppositely banked like / <-- ok not THAT steep, but you get the idea ... and Rob drove extra fast so the van would hang on 2 wheels. The van did for about one second, then next thing I know, the van's flying down the cliff. Then ... splash! blub, blub, blub ... as the van's sinking down this lake, Rob goes on and on talking about future ToH plans. Then we all undo our seatbelts, roll down the windows, and swim to the top.
As we're swimming to shore, suddenly a VW beetle shoots up to the water surface, engine still running (my dreams are usually this weird), and we all get aboard with one swimming to push the car to shore. The shore turned out to be a solid concrete platform. I see the rest of the group shivering with their clothes soaked, then look down and see that I'm wearing a bathing suit with a towel around that (just as I get out of the water). I then feel my towel ... it's dry. Then I ask myself a dumb question, "Wait! Why is my towel dry?"
then it ended.  such a fun dream too. Of course some would find it a nightmare, dreaming about how BAD graphics HoMM4 is.

In the last few days, I spent alot of time waiting in the zone rooms and not getting a game, everyone who was interested wanted to cripple the game with 1000 regulations, which I did not accept.
Last night then I dreamt about a game that was about to be launched, when my opponent said:"This is my rule, we may only attack each others after we have killed the computer players."

My gosh I had the worst nightmare when I played ironmlh from 8 am to 3 pm, then I played Drunken Merlin from 3:30 pm from 6am.
My gosh after I went to sleep I had a long dream of playing on a certain week of movements in my game with Ironmlh.
Then a bunch of various movements, I kept waking for a sec then i kept doing the same movements.
It happened for hrs I think.
There was no battles in the dream just movements lol.

When I first started playing heroes I would go to sleep and sleep horribly.
Lil horses ran around my head and kept me up.
After a few days my eyes must have adjusted and it didn't happen again.
Then about 6 months ago I started to have good dreams about heroes.
After 3 days of that Monique bought me a new copy of the game so I could play again.
I said I wouldn't and let it set on the desk for about 2 days then loaded it back up =)
Btw Lews I have actually seen people ask for that rule before. Amazing isn't it? =)

Melissa it sounds like you got a glimpse at what it must be like for the heroes we casually sacrifice in our careless games 
And, Wiggy, that dream...wow how detailed! You remember it so vividly and completely! So many twists and turns. Perhaps you should avoid water maps or be careful with the water walk spell? Maybe you should just be careful when in the car with Vesuvius and he is caught up in his talking.

Undead sprite!
Well, this is my 2 pences:
One day. after about 9 hours hot seat session with Monty, i got pretty nighmare:
It dreamed, that Monty call me and told, that he have new home now with perfect connection, he hired me to turn comp on and come to zone. I did it and saw him. We make room, agreed rules and start game for TOH (and by unknown matters it won't seems strange, cos usually we never play TOH with him). About day 4 i got 3 activity messages. When i ask Monty, what happend - he told me, that he assault utopia.
I ask - how? And he told me - i got undead sprite!...
(i don't remeber what happend then, but next vision was) ...his main hero with great stats about 50 each and 1 sprite, who really was undead (not as necro creatures, but unable to die).
Funny ain't it?

All the time!
Whenever I play a game a lot, like Heroes right now (last one was Diablo II), I dream every night just that I'm playing, that I'm continuing my last save or what MIGHT have happened or stuff like that.

when i play a game...
I get dreams too... I have often finished games in my dreams, (without even having played that part in RL) and then I wake up and I am surprised to see that it actually works...
anyway, the first heroes related dream i had was after finishing AB... I dreamt of being next to Mutare during her transformation... the last one, had me as a Gelu kinda guy, fighting Legions of Orcs with Sharpshooters and a new unit called High Elf
tonight I had a weird dream... I joined ToH... hey, wait a mminute... I did join ToH... oh, well...

Man I had a weird one last night.
My Friend Danny, Prometheus and I were all in a software store early morning on the day H4 was released.
Man I was such a geek.
I kept asking "So have you sold a lot of these today?"
and
"Have you ever played this?"
"No? Well you should man. It's the best game ever. Here I'll write down the website where we all play at."
The guy behind the counter selling the game to us was John Norris from MTV news.
The software store was so nice looking.
Man I never wanted to wake up from that dream.

not a dream but...
It's not exactly a dream story, but maybe i had a dream and just forgot it
But a few times after long games that i've lost , i've woken up in the middle of the night with a sudden revalation as to what i should have done to win that game. Then i usually think about it for a while, think "damn, i was dumb" and go back to bed
