CONFIRMED: might AND magic heroes in ALL factions
So it seems that one of the best announcements have been made in the development of Heroes 6.
The words from master Cepheus himself:
Quote: In case you're wondering, all factions have both a Might and a Magic hero class. No exceptions
The long awaited return of 2 kinds of heroes in ALL faction is here.
That's right folks! we will once again have both might and magic heroes in our beloved factions.
If you have read the PDF's(Haven, Inferno, Necropolis) for the 3 first factions you will know that the following revealed heroes are:
Haven: Paladin(might)
Inferno: Hell Knight(might)
Necropolis: Necromancer(magic)
However with these new awesome news, it seems that these valiant hearts of heroes will now be joined by a second hero. Then the question is what will these heroes be?
I think it is safe to assume that the fourth faction Stronghold will still have the Barbarian, but by all means feel free to give your own hero instead if you wish.
So lets do some nice speculations, what additional heroes do think there will be?
My personal bet:
Haven: Paladin(might) - Priest(magic)
Inferno: Hell Knight(might) - Demonologist(magic)
Necropolis: Death Knight(might) - Necromancer(magic)
Stronghold: Barbarian(might) - Shaman(magic) - the unit "shaman" will have another name

We've known this for a while, but nonetheless, I am super pleased by this feature.
Getting automatically pigeonholed, to a degree, into a particular style with each town in HV because you only had one hero option kinda sucked.

I like that very much. My only concern is that they may crap up the classes with viciously stupid names. I have already suggested:
HAVEN
Might - Champion
Magic - Paladin
NECROPOLIS
Might - Duke
Magic - Necromancer
INFERNO
Might - Outcast
Magic - Heretic
STRONGHOLD
Might - Barbarian
Magic - Shaman
These are of course unhappenable, because the Paladin will be the might hero of Haven, but at least give their magic hero a nice name like Cleric or Archon.

I think it's good that there will be both might and magic heroes for each faction. It reflects the game's name. However, I think that this information has been revealed a long time ago, so I am suprised to see that it has become popular just now.

Yes this is awesome, never again will I be forced to play with a magic hero while going for a offensive-might-based Dungeon Hero.
It also make me really interested in Strongholds magic-hero

Yes, you'll never have to do that simply because there will never be Dungeon in Heroes 6

Probably not in vannila but H5 had 6 factions turning into 8 because of expansions.
I would like it a bit different like when a might or magic hero reaches a certain level they would go to advanced class:
Haven:
Might-Champion
Magic-cleric
Advanced-palladin
Inferno-
Might-Outcast
Magic-Heretic
Advanced-Hell knight
Necropolis:
Might-Death knight
Magic-Necromancer
Advanced-Doom lord
Stronghold
Might-Barbarian
Magic-Shaman
Advanced-Warboss
