When it comes to HoMM5 my favourite factions are Haven and Necropolis.
I love role playing with this game alot.
So, my question for mod is this:
Is it possible to switch the textures of Knight to a Death Knight?

I havent found anything similliar on these forums.
reading your post I think you might be interested in my mod,
it adds the death knight class from H3 to H5 necropolis along with suitable skills and abilities (better than just swapping skins isn't it?):
