Firefox Addons
So... besides the obvious Noscript and AdblockPlus... what can ya recommend?
I recently downloaded two very nifty ones.
Turn Off The Lights
Makes everything around a video (or flash, if you set the identify flash option in settings) dark by a press of a handy lightbulb button, like zeh cinema. Can't watch videos without it nowadays.
Tab Scope
By hovering your mouse over a tab, you get a small popup previewing the material. Very handy when you have loads of stuff open and don't wanna click through it all to find the right tab.

Using Chrome as well, only plugin I ever needed is AdBlock.
In general, less plugins => better system performance. Yes, I'm a computer geek as majority of Chrome users.

I am pretty annoyed with Firefox. One month ago I was happy, then it downloaded without asking a new version and most scripts were not compatible. Then it downloaded again a new version, which enables a new process 'plugins', taking a lot of memory and pushing the delay when starting Firefox to 10-15 seconds, while before it was instant. Hopefully AD-block is still working, but more and more sites check for it and prohibit access if enabled. Guess income is more important than users freedom.

I got Google Chrome the first day it came out, or close to it, and browsed around with it for a bit, said "Meh" and went back to Firefox. That was in its beta version though.

Just got that Download Status Bar... nice.
EDIT:
Found Extended Statusbar too... also a very nice tool. Lets ya see your current speed and stuff... how much ya downloaded... very useful.

All in one gestures, really handy. You can map anything to any mouse gesture you want. Like open HC, send email to elvin about too much spam with just a swing of your mouse!
Google Chrome doesn't have a real AdBlocker, it just hides them from your view but they still load on the background hogging your performance and bandwith.
It also gather information from you for advertising purposes.

Waaah that's so cool! Can definitely see myself saving time with this tool...
Just the back and forward gestures are really handy... nice

Had to uninstall it cuz I have a habit of randomly clicking the left and right mouse buttons at empty parts of the screen just to keep my hands busy haha... it thinks I'm gesturing when I'm actually just being retarded...

I don't have a diagnosis but I think that's just cuz they haven't come up with something that describes my behaviour yet ^^
