Poll Question:
Humanoid or beastlike Inferno?

Demons were humanoid creatures in H3 and H4, but in H5 and 6 they were dame beastlike, and lost their humanoid bodies (expect imps and succubi). So what do you prefer for them in H7, if they are to be included?

I like more humanoid demons like in the older times. Especially the H3 Pit Lord, who I'll really like to see again. Humanoid demons are more fearsome to me.

Voted humanoid, but actually I'd rather have a mix.

Like other factions, one or two humanoid "intelligent" creatures that shows off the dominant species of the faction, and the rest of the line-up filled with other interesting monsters and stuff.

With intelligent demons I guess I mean the bipedal ones like Devils and Succubi.

I guess H6 and forward they went for a more ehhh... "uncontrolled" chaos style with mutated blobs like the Breeders and stuff. I do prefer the more calculative evil feel of Inferno that H5 had.

Never played H6 though so I dunno.

H5 was kind of on the borderline of humanoid and beast-like. That's where I'd like Inferno to be.

I'd go for mix too.

Yeah, something like H5 but with a few refreshing changes

In my opinion, developers should do their best to find the golden mean between "beasts" and "humanoids" in Inferno. H6 Inferno was somehow original but too close to Aliens and Zergs (imo), H5's too generic and H3 is just a classic (with many units I don't like ).

I hope that (after expansion packs ) we will get a creepy, monstrous Inferno with humanoids and beasts. I want to see twisted humanoids  leading and aiding (as elite units) armies of mindless beasts (presumably core units).

As Beasty as possible, if you have played Disciples 2 I would really want something like all those end-game high level Demons.

But I guess mix is pretty good and the most probable outcome as seen in DoC and H6.

I would say no inferno at all. Most boring faction in the game since... forever.

Tells a guy with a dwarf as his avatar.

Seriously, why did you bother to post here at all if you hate Inferno? Just to spew crap?

Well going by the comment section on the voting page and the main ubisoft forum wondering where inferno is I say you are wrong.

I voted beasts. But, there won't be any Inferno in H7. Check the story behind it, it doesn't add up.

Inferno was always my last choice to play in H5. Yes, last. I enjoyed the gating though, so many strategies you can do with it.

If Inferno were in H7, I'd appreciate a more humanoid with probably at most 3 beast creatures. H6 was overdone. Just by looking at it, I wouldn't want to play H6 Inferno at all.

I wish they added more classical demonic creatures though like Abaddon/Apolyon, Incubus or a demonic possessor.

Make fiends humanoid and demons beastlike to represent their manipulating & destructive tedencies respectively.

If they ever retconned nightmares then I could see them being a better fit as servants of Malassa.

This! Darkness, fear, illusions and manipulating your enemies. Imo, it would be more suitable for Nightmares to "land" in Dungeon/Necropolis than in Inferno.

Pretty much this. Though I consider the hulking, apelike Horned Demons of HV more Humanoid then Beast.

Beastlike with posessed humanoids. Haven't had any posessed creatures yet in the series. The H6 Demented and Tormentor were such weird creatures, with even weirder descriptions. I say keep them simple and get some brainwashed humans, and for gods sake bring back the efreets, they are sorely missed.
