i think todays revealed elites.. are completely disgrace to all dedicated fans... disgrace to giving feedback attemps.. disgrace in name of a new game, 7th heroes game...
yes, they should change elites, entirely from zero. no arthas vampires, no bald vampire liches:
said this 1000 times before, we want skeletal(or skeltal/mummified) liches. thats %100 sure better.
personally i did like h6 lamasu a bit, but this one,h7 lamasu, is just looking much more worse. i think this can either use rework or delet button for another unit.
vampire knight, is the same lame-ass warcraft coppy just like h6 vampire-kight, and heroes series are rich with lore, ideas, and also great fans that its just a big shame to copy warcraft. it should have its own artistical kind of vampires with roots on past(nosferatu like-vampires of h3, heroes portraits.. etc etc..)

Not the same and we live in the internet era now where everyone feels soooooooo entitled.
Also, forgot to reply to "would go unnoticed" from your original post. Since when? Not only Marzhin said it here beforehand that it has the least changes, even the blog update mentions staying with the H6 design. Dramatic much?

They run of money. After all, we got 2 factions created from scraps (and models from previous games ) - Sylvan and Dungeon. OK, one (Sylvan) and a half (Dungeon) of factions.
You need to save money where you can and creating new units for all factions is big money sink (models, animations, textures, etc.).
Don't get me wrong - I don't like Necro H6 elites copy but I understand why it was done.
Besides - Ubisoft and Limbic spent all money for Erwan favourite faction - Orcs.

I apologize for the harsh words I'm gonna use, but this is reality:
They are a company, doing a product, which they ask money for. The "we are out of money" is not an excuse (and they didn't even said that they ran out of money). If they want money, they should please the customer, in order to do so they have to do a quality product. You can't afford the compromises (pun intended), this is simply just business

Once again, they knew this would happen and would anger SOME people. No product can please everyone, it does not exist. But you think your taste is the end of all.
If H7 flops then you still wouldn't be able to say it's because of a faction that was repeated from H6 because you can't know for sure. Not to mention that H7 is implementing a lot of gameplay changes that caters to hardcore fans (remember the blog post about H3 similarities?) that it's likely to gather MORE attention than H6 had.

I must say I am so pleased to see the Death Knight (grim rider / reaper) back.. I have indeed missed him. And I think the design is fairly cool.
The vampire is of course awesome and is pretty .. well set in its ways, but I really would like to have seen a change or two.. something new..
The lamusa sucks.. the spider is okay. The skeleton is a skeleton, nothing much there.. ghost are boring.. Well just a total meeeh with the necros...
but isn't just a faction set in its ways?

#1. Nosferatu Vampires not these silly twilight pretty boys with guitar swords, Skeletal Liches that don't levitate or have spider legs coming out their backs, and replace Lamasu with the classical Mummy.

So dissappointed...
Really, they just copied H6's Necropolis without even changing the models... It's really like pissing on the fans. I honestly don't understand what's so difficult in making proper, skeletal Liches and not Arthas-copy Vampires (either H3 Nosferatu-style or something new- like robed, priest-like Asha-worshipping Vampires whose hands glow with green life-draining energy). Are new models such a bother/so expensive? Really! The only creature I'm happy with is the Grim Rider, just like I imagined it to be.
In a perfect world, that's how my Necropolis would look like:
Core:
Skeleton
Mummy
Spider
(Zombie- special summoned unit)
Elite:
Vampire
Lich
Banshee
Champion:
Bone Horror (dual forms- a tank-ish giant form and a flying dragon form)
Grim Rider
And of course, the perfect Necro would be the Void Necropolis, which I'd do like this:
Core
Skeleton
Wight
Hungry Shade
Elite
Vampire
Void Lich
Flesh Horror
Champion
Elder One
Grim Rider
