Who is the best H3 player ever......??????
......on DESERT WAR or on one of the other the chosen maps for the first series of TOH mapmaster is about to be launched soon after the start of the new season.
the 4 maps which are picked for this first mapmaster launch will be the following (more series will happen if the first will be a success) :
Desert War
GiantWar
Block Template-2SM4d(2)
Dwarven Tunnels Template
each of the 4 Mapmaster tourneys will be played bracket style with strict deadlines - NO EXTENSIONS , no matter why.

dwarven tunnels?
get that off lol,replace it with rise of the pheonix template!or south of hell template!

tew, those 2 templates r only available to SOD players, whereas tunnels is for all, and never get restarts from week 1 meetings.
other thing to note is that the barrier maps dont appear for xl/under, only XL no under and below.
Picking templates is hard unless u got rmg file installed and make map using editor. Could get 20 restarts or so till u get the right template without necro or flux.

hmm cant all players join if a 3rd party hosts makes the maps 1.4 (if there is such an option) if one of the doesnt have SOD ? just a thought cause im no random expert

i planned using this template txt file. maybe well offer a for this tounrey designed txt file for download which the host has to put in his data folder befor playing.
shouldnt be so difficult to realise or do i miss something ?
if so please tell this txt stuff is kinda new to me

Probally should pick a player who is all around great in all catagories of game play.
Closed maps
Open Maps
Randoms.
Not that hard to judge who is great & even the best on one similar catagory but what about all around gratness?

u right thats why we have choosen the maps
desert War = open ( u dont wanna tekll me that the easy giants make it a closed map do ya  )
giantwar = closed
and the 2 random templates cause i wanted an equal number of randoms and fixed maps

But still if a 3rd party host creates a map and gives it to 2 1.4 players to play, the map is sod, unless built in editor as an ROE random map..
And therefore such templates as Rise of the Phoenix, Monks Revenge, Golems A Plenty, and South of Hell are not possible for global usage.
You cannot change a map from SOD to ROE with a simple button click. But you can go from ROE to SOD without issue or troubles.

i can make the rmg file for you. what size do u want as min/max?
will we allow M maps, or smallest be L with under for example?
i can also do other fine tuning if we want to increase stack sizes or frequency of treasures etc.

i am an random noob so i got absolutely no clue if finetunig is needed or not . i am sure u will tune whats needed cause for this u need random experience and u got tons of this

well i still wanna be able to play in the tourney, if i'm modifying templates will that mean i cant play in it? I can document exactly what changes were made to make the information public. What do ppl think on this? Mainly i wanna increase some stack sizes on the boundaries of areas. I can say for example, the barrier is now 25% larger than standard.

you cant have a double standard. It's not up to you to decide what threads are "tossable" and others are to be kept "spam free".
you give as u get, so please keep this in consideration b4 u start tossin all over the place again and then expect what u consider "important" threads as threads that should be free of tossing and spam
