Have you formatted the pendrive? Did it work before (prior to Nwn)?
Format it as FAT32 or NTFS, or whatever you use in the computer's file system.

Everyone should try this mod.
It's fantastic. Easily the best mod I've played for NWN2 and easily up there with the like of Darkness over Daggerford, the Stormy Night triology, and Return to Ravenloft.

I formated the pendrive to FAT32. Well, it isn't such a catastrophe anyway as I'll move to the student-hostel in september and I'll take my computer, and there's internet connection. So it will be solved sooner or later.

My windows does not offer NTFS, but FAT and FAT32...
It worked all right before this. I think there's something fishy with this critical rebuild file... But if it isn't working this way, it would in an other as I've said

Try to rename the file from .exe to something else (e.g: .temp). You do see the extension, right?
Then if it works, after you copy it to the other computer, rename (on the other computer) back to .exe, and run it.

I tried to re-format that pendrive before trying your extension advise. "Windows couldn't finish formating" Yay!
So I think I'm not going to risk my MP4 player

I'd like to but unfortunately I live with people who don't see the value of high-speed internet and a town full of people who aren't very trusting. I shouldn't have to buy a cup of coffee to use wireless.

What kind of multiplayer game? I might be interested, but I'm a little busy these days
Also, do you have NWN + SoU + HotU version 1.69? Because otherwise I don't think it would work in the first place...

Well, I have NWN1 original and will have the patch hopefully (it shouldn't be much of a problem if I install the game on this PC connected to net, so auto-update would do it, as it did last time). I think we could play some modult that requires original only. As far as I know, they allow epansions as well...
And Omega, our connection isn't high speed either (an average from the slower category) and I managed to play some games online.

The only problem is that I like to play with Prestige Classes (available only in expansions)

Hmm...
didn't play Nwn in quite a while, I'm afraid I don't have any "useable" characters either (I like to multi-class, but that's too heavily penalized in Nwn ). and i don't have any special "modules" either, just the campaign.

@Death I don't have many caracters either. My idea was to start "from the beginning": lvl1... And even though I never played multicalss, I think they are not that heavily penalized if you play with the right race ('favoured class')
Though if you are not in the mood, I understand, just an idea.

I wasn't talking about that penalty. But say, a Cleric/Sorcerer actually has LESS spells (total) than a full Sorcerer, not to mention that the full Sorcerer also has higher level spells among those. Couldn't they just balance it?

No problem these days (1-2) probably I'll not be available, but I might consider. I didn't play ANY game recently. It feels so... bad, I mean I don't even have time for "fun" anymore (but I hope I'll play something these days)

Now I see what you meant about penalties. I agree, but there's some reson in it after all. [it just reminds me: If I play a wizard-sorcerer caracter and I learn a metamagic spell due to wizard level up, can I use it with sorcerer spells? I always wondered]
