3DO & Heroescommunity
I was wondering... since 3DO has it's own posting system, do they ever look here?
Or do we just post our ideas here for eachother?
I wonder, because if they would look here, why don't they post here?
Btw, they don't post much on their own site either so that could explain things...
Maybe this is a stupid question, but if you don't ask you won't get an answer

i've posted some messages on their community board system - but it was so bad done. You see all the messages and you can't orient yourself what to do - what comes first, what last - and logging was so annoying.
This board is great - good job Valeriy! Molodetz!

If 3DO doesn't look here, then we're essentially posting in vain. Is all the time spent here on the H4 Wishes forum wasted? We should notify 3DO of the existence of these fora, and get them to read our ideas.

I've emailed 3do on several occasions and they've said that they do look at heroes community boards. If you look at our most popular threads that originated 2+ months ago or from the old heroes community, you will see that much of that stuff has been put into HOMM4. For example the fix on hero chains (all the unrealism in homm) and the mechanical dragon with a dwarf rider (mechanical town).
I believe we have had some good influence on the game so far. But it's a bit late now for new creatures, the game is almost done, let's concentrate on minor features to be tweaked. Then we can always repost it all on H4 expansion wishes forum that we will have

Also, this little place gets us exciting and keeps us guessing about what the game will be. All the ideas are great, and they keep me guessing. It's also the hope that are ideas would be noticed and thought of, maybe even included. But, that's just a guess.

Valeriy you have made such a great place to talk about HOMM IV. I think it is so great. It's fun that we are able to influence 3DO !! As soon as HOMM IV comes out some of us will have some more ideas about new changes, complaintes and stuff. So this site will never die. Probably not so many topics after homm IV releases, but though a place to talk about improvments !!!
I know all of us are very greatful that you made this possible Valeriy !!

It's a great board to talk in despite all these nasty bugs. Nice work (Or script stealing hehe) Valeriy.
Also I think that flaming should be allowed at the tavern, and I think it shouldn't have any censorship, after all the tavern is a place where all the drunkards go at night to curse (And I don't mean the spell ) each other.

if we all start calling eachother names? We can post here because we can share ideas, not say .... well you know to eachother.

I disagree that 3do used any ideas from heroes community message board, because there were many ideas posted long time ago and nothing was used, and btw idea of mechanical dragon was not taken from your message board, there is already a mechanical dragon in heroes3 it is crystal dragon=dragon golem , and see list of known monsters in heroes 4 :most of all are from kings bounty , so 3do did not use main part of ideas about monsters from 1990 to present day ,and 3do wrote to you that they like to view this message board because it will be extremely unpolite to say "we are not intersted" they are not mad so they know that they must show respect to heroes fans
But its not important for me ,I just like to post here

And I disagree that some think that 3do dosen't look here. Why shouldn't they...It's a great forum with many ideas...

I am not sure they are though... i have visited about 7 sites like this one, but this is the best by far!

besides the 2 month delay (the "get it right" petition) is there any other influence that you see from HC to H5.
