I Know This May Sound A Little Silly But 3DOH Are Dead & Who Is Paying MSN The Rent?

Zone hosts H3, cause people play it
Same reason zone hosts all those free games..they generate traffic and based on that they sell advertising.
If the # of people in H3 zone becomes to small they may axe it, but not until then.

Well, I was thinking of the future games on the way "Horizons etc.." I see zone mainly at 37-45 on a regular basis, and when I look at other games, their room are like 100's-1000's.
I know about the advertisements but IMO I think the people are in zone to play heroes, as for clicking on a banner, I doubt I'd ever do that, especially if I was there to play heroes  I do know what your saying but honestly, how many people you think click on the banners and actually purchase something?
Well just my veiw on how I see it ending, yes... ending unfortunately

Dont worry Tel. This will be no problem. They can take away the zone but they cant take Toh. If it happens then Toh will come up with something because they are too dedicated not to. And if yo think homm is dying unless there is a Homm 5 then go and take a look at what the WoG team are doing just now. They are going from strength to strength and imo are doing with Homm3 what should have been done with homm4 the way it should have been done in the first place. 3d0s demise is a blessing in disguise.
Well maybe not too much in disguise.

if zone goes down there will stick be gamespy. in my opinion its even beter. whether or not its compatible with complete is a different matter.
i used it for AB a couple times.

If H3 goes to gamespy..I most likely leave the game...
don't worry folks..activity during the dog days of summer always declines..
Come Sept. and the new season and the cold weather..
Activity will rise as usual..maybe not nearly the level from before..
But damnnnn good for a 5 yr ole game it's unprecidented...

Talk about age.. age of empires predates h3.. and some zone games have 0 people..( just go to zone.com and click 'all games' somewhere on the left side..
