Anyone remember when the new Strength hero is being released? Thought they said winter 2018 but that’s not looking likely.

Well, I do think it's entirely likely, given Winter will start in 2 days, right? Probably right after that Chinese Major, I reckon.

I usually play pos 3 or 4, since I find supporting to be pointless when the carry just wants to play walking simulator. It's alright. Basically, it's kind of like a survival match. There are only a select few heroes available, some of their skill tweaked, and you'll have to play smart if you are to survive.

I play 3, 4 and 5. Mostly 5. Nowadays, or perhaps due the better level of players in my new bracket, it's been easier to support, even when the carry is not really anything brilliant. But I can mainly speak from the Plus point of view. Whenever I try to play a normal ranked game, bad things will follow. Legion jungle, 8 carries, etc.
I tried this Frosthavenvustimatic yesterday. I thought it was kind of entertaining. Playing mainly with Pangolier. Then I stopped playing when I noticed my points were not updating properly. The farest I got was when there are Tusks waves, after Spectres.

Just finished a match. My Drow mid had 2 8 2 by the end of the game, ended up blaming enemy Tinker for scripts/hacks. I don't know what I've done to deserve people like him...

I just finished barely loading a game...we didn’t have enough damage output. Our Weaver is running around damaging them with his invis at 55 mins in  and he had a moonshard I keep seeing weavers that go for attack speed items. I didn’t think it was that hard, in fact I thought it was obvious. The dude that spits out up to three free attacks needs to be stacking damage...am I missing something here?

DotA 2 Auto Chess is hands down the best arcade mod I ever got to play in this game. This thing is stupidly fun and addictive. Been playing it all day and still haven't had enough. Mad props to the Chinese lads who made this 
EDIT: And a month later the game is massively plagued by cheaters. Two out of three games today for me personally and of course they're all Russians. Reddit even has a dedicated thread for cheaters as of today. Worst of all, there's no reliable way to eliminate the problem since most game input is done player-side, so basically vulnerable to injections where VAC doesn't apply. Probably done with it. Cheating is disgusting behavior and I won't stand for it.
Oh, and of course, been following MDL and ESL Katowice, both good tournaments. ESL appealed to me more, was kinda sad OG got only 3rd. Seems Secret's going 3-0. Fun times.

Holy ****, I just demo'd him. He's insane. Every ability on him is good. Spear has good range, damage and stun potential. God's Rebuke scales off of melee attack and deals AoE crit with True Strike. That's just bonkers. Passive reduces physical damage taken from the front up to 70% and sides 35%. Arena of Blood is like Disruptor and Legion's ulti combined, feels like it's going to be massive in team fights.
So basically a run at you hero with some damage and CC. Possibly versatile for roles.

This hero is just what I needed! But he's countered with a lot of nuking and disables. I've just won a game against him and it was interesting. Willow's fear combined with his ult is a nasty combo. I can sense lots of synergies with other teamfight heroes like Magnus, Shaker and Enigma. All in all, I like him, and can't wait to start spamming him to get the sweet MMR while he's still broken.

I'm assuming this dota 2 is like the real dota, in which case tinker DOES hack. That's one mother snowing cheating, bannable hero by any rule of cheating. Once he gets BoT, linken and guinsoo it's game over, especially when you're drow and you have to lane against him. There just isn't absolutely anything you can do to counter tinker with drow. He farms easier, thus gets better items faster, thus gets BoT faster, and once he got those delicious boots he can teleport anywhere anytime. You just can't counter that cause there's no hero that can keep up with his spammy ulti

Mars lv 25 can be almost a PA with true strike and granted massive AoE critical which proc modifiers. Interesting ulti. Can also save allies from ranged attacks and immediate danger. Looks like a nice offlaner, given he can sustain front to front damage, so he can get last hits rather often.
