Making polls?
Ehm is anybody here able to make a poll? I sure as snow ain't, all I get when posting the poll is 2 horizontal lines and the Heroes Community background. I try to update the page, but nothing happens.
Am I not allowed to create polls, are they to be checked by moderators first or why is'nt it being uploaded?

Probably page loading issues. I can create a poll just fine (just didn't click submit  ), but sometimes the page can load really slow.

It's when I click "Submit new poll" the horizontal lines appear...
Yeah this page is really slow, must be running on some ancient technology.

How it doesn't help? You asked if making polls is technically possible, therefore my answer was the best from the list.
Note that my Adblock is down when HC, so try without.

Well congratulations to you for being able to make a poll, but apparently I can't. It's not that I don't know how, if that was the case you could call me noob, but it is'nt.
As far as I know I don't have any addblock installed unless it has something to do with Windows 7.

I have tried a different browser but with the same result, I even tried on my phone, that did'nt work either. 
Guess I'll live without making polls here, still strange though.
Another weird thing was when I tried to edit a previous post I got this message: "Sorry, but your username does not match the person who posted this message. Back up and try again." Even though I was logged in and it was my message...

Got another PC to try with?
Also, clearing the cookies might help

To summarize:
- you don't have AdBlock installed or active
- you tried to make a poll on various browsers
- you were logged in and your internet connection is fine
- you cleared the cookies
Hard to tell what's happening, although it's strange. Have you thought about writing here Turban Tribunal ? It's hard for us to help when we can make a poll and we eliminated hypothetical reasons I listed at the top of this post. I don't know if it will help either, but at least it the question can be asked on proper board.
If I'm wrong and Turban Tribunal is not a good idea, then I apologise for suggest writing there, although I really do not know why you cannot make a poll.

Yes I agree with what you summarized there, though I'm not entirely sure it could'nt be some adblock, but I have not installed any adblock on either PC nor phone, so unless it's in the operating systems or browsers I don't know.
And I've tried both Internet Explorer and Chrome, with the same result.
Never heard of this Turban Tribunal, guess I could try there or I could just forget it.

It's up to you; I only showed a way you might choose, but you might not as well. I'm not sure though if Turban Tribunal is a proper place to that kind of topics while you already started a thread here and it was not moved.
About AdBlock, it's a plug-in that blocks advertisements and such. Check out your list of installed plug-ins in Chrome (that's your main browser, eh?) and see if there's AdBlock (or just see if it blocks advertisements ).
It propably won't satisfy you, but even if you have AdBlock activated all the time I doubt it'd be the main reason of your problem.

Programs like adblock often show they are there in a small detail.....make a screenshot of your browser perhaps we see something you missed
|
