I am extreme hypocrit. I am cynical. Gosh, I can't even count a number of people I have hurt. I want to change myself. I just don't know what to do. I believe in Karma and I am afraid that something bad can happen to me. I have been mean my whole life. Cynism is my doctrine, my meaning of life.
So I said, heck with it. I am changing. I will try to help, I will defend the weak, I will do things for community and I will change myself.
Being mean is easy. Poisoning someone's life is a no-brainer. You just tease the nerds, or wimps. You gain reputation. People fear you. You are cool. Or are you? Is being cool a matter of people you hurt yourself? Is being cool the number of nerds and not-cool people that hate you and fear you? Is being cool the number of girls you slept with and then broke their hearts? Is being cool the age you left your home? Is being cool the total weight of LSD you swallowed during your whole life? No, it isn't. It is not for me, at least.
I might not be cool, but I have my rules. I try to be kind. I try to help when nerds are being pushed around (which caused a few bruises on my body already). I always help them in standing up. And I hope that Karma will even the score. One day. A matter of time. |
