The person of Galaad appears to the end of the Lancelot in prose, invented by the clerks of the XIIIth century to answer the wait engendered by the Collection of Graal. The arthurienne chivalry is indeed in an impasse: deserving, but too worldly, Christian, but incapable to escape the sin. Neither Gauvain, nor Perceval - hero of the Tale of the Graal de Chrétien of Troyes and the Continuations written in the XIIIth century - who tried repeatedly to appear at the Castle of Graal did not manage in spite of their efforts to reach the necessary chivalrous and spiritual perfection to make a success of the Collection of Graal. It was thus advisable to create a hero whose mission was to finish this spiritual fulfillment of the chivalry.
The links of Galaad with the arthurienne yard are real. His father is Lancelot who passes to be the best knight of the world, but who cannot carry out the adventure of Graal because of his love for the queen. His mother is the girl of the Lord of Corbénic, the other name of King Pêcheur, boss of the castle where shows itself the procession of Graal. Lancelot, deceived by the following one of the girl of this king, absorbs a philtre and believes to spend a night with Guenièvre while he unites with the one who will give birth to Galaad. The child, raised in one abbey of the forest of Camaalot, stays up to the age there from fifteen years to the moment when a hermit announces him that he has to become a knight and go to the yard of king Arthur. The Collection of the Saint Graal, Romanic in prose consisted by 1215-1230, opens on the dubbing of Galaad by his father, then on its arrival to Arthur's yard, gathered to Camaalot the Whitsunday. Dressed in a ruby armor, he is accompanied with an old man who presents him as the Knight Désiré " thanks to whom will come to an end the miracles of the country and the foreign lands ". He sits down on the Precarious Seat, then manages to remove a sword stuck in a stony block what reveals to all that it is the " better knight of the world " intended to terminate the adventures of Graal.
In search of the Graal
Galaad part with 149 other companions, Knights of the Round Table, for the Collection of Graal. All are quickly eliminated because they refuse " daender their life ". Galaad is one of three knights with Perceval and Bohort who reach farthest in this collection: the adventures which appear at him are so many signs demonstrating that he fights for God. So he can with his companions contemplate the cup which contained the blood of the Christ, to receive the religious community of the hand of the Christ personally. Galaad cures King Mehaignié by getting his wounds with the falling blood drip in drop of the sacred lance.
Galaad is the only one to be able to finish the adventure: virgin and totally abstinent, he embodies the purity and the humility lauded by the Church. He goes to Sarras on God's orders and stays in this town, new heavenly Jerusalem, where multiply miracles and miracles. Having reigned on one year as king of Corbénic, he can finally contemplate inside the Holy Vase " the heavenly mysteries " and dies, happy to pass " of this ground life in the heavenly life ". Taken by the angels, he rises to Heavens in full pondering over the divine mystery and Graal is too taken in the sky. In him is finally embodied the redemption of the chivalry, while the arthurien world collapses because of the moral and religious decay of the chivalry of Brittany.

Puzzled about Galaad. I remember reading Tennyson's poem "Sir Galahad" as young boy, and since then I always saw Galahad, even Monty Python call it like this.
Yet wikipedia says you are right.

I am right, Lancelot in prose says it all, though last part was never translated until recently, and not from the good manuscript (they chose the abbreviated version).

"Kimarous" was something my older brother came up with when creating a character for... something that I've forgotten about. It was before my brother and I really took to the internet. Around 2006 or so, when I really started to explore the web, I asked if he was okay if I used the name as both my online alias and as an original (and eventually main) character for my personal writings / would-be book if I actually bothered finishing it. The name as since developed into my universal online name, since it is unique enough that very few places have it "taken" before I get there.

Its a boring story really.
First time creating a character in a MMO world, I wanted something dark to the name and typed in Hellknight. But being very young and somewhat retarded I forgot the "k" and the name ended up with "Hellnight"
This was something I didnt realise before a couple of days later.
So when I created my second char, I wanted something diffrent from my snowup. And thus I first typed in Hansa (Its a type of beer here) and tweeked it alittle. So Hansan was the end result untill I felt like it had to have something more. And Hanzan sprung to life.
That came to be my most played character and has followed me everywhere else. Usually as a tank... heh

Tarmaskas was my original nickname back in CH-RT, picturing a four-winged faceless giant bird - a unit of a long gone line up suggestion. Then, I really don't remember why, it ended up transforming to Panda Tar, because Tarmaskas was a bit unfriendly to the tongue. It was something related to panda porn ... well, the important thing is that it lingered and now that's me, a fluffy panda.

Hello. I realized I never got to stay the story of how I came up with my username.
Well, to be honest there is no great story. Mihaitza is just a transliteration of the diminutive form of my first name. In the same vein as Johnny or Bobby, if you will.

My user name has to with a couple things.
1. Animeman has to do with the fact I'm a man who loves Japanese animation. I've been watching the stuff since I saw Galaxy Express 999 and old Speed Racer cartoons on the local television station in my area back in the 1980's. From there i was introduced to Robotech, Voltron, and then in the 90's I really fell in love with anime when the then Sci-Fi channel aired a program line-up called Adventures in Japanese Animation. There I was introduced to Robot Carnival, Lensman, and Vampire Hunter D. And that's how I made anime a part of my life and my name. And that's where I get Animeman from.
2. Let's just say the 73 in my name has to do with when I was born.
