Quote: Read and Learn. This is how games are meant to be played.

I'll be quite brief here. I read the article, and about the only thing I agree with is the way that the article defines what a "scrub" is.
Using bugs to win ( I don't care whether the bug is minor or major) is totally unacceptable to me. A bug is a mistake embedded in the "world" of the game. It should be fixed.
If one agrees with this article, can it be stated that using cheat codes to win is fair?
I play to win, and will use many tactics that I learn from playing other more experienced players........but I will never use bugs or cheat codes to win.
Yes, winning is the ultimate goal when playing in a league, but to me, its how you get there that matters as well, not just the result. For example, take a student writing a math exam. Did you know that in over 90% of administered exams that the student will get a fair amount of points for the question even if his final answer is wrong. Points are awarded for the thought process and formula used in the worksheet section.
If a player playing to win does so, well that player better be prepared to be called a "dirty" player. I would rather lose with dignity than win using bugs or cheat codes.
Ande besides, what goes around comes around. Dirty players will eventually end-up player with their own kind.

Awesome article. Thanks for posting.
Using bugs? I would agree those are more along the lines of cheating. Most players in ToH cheated using the view opponent castle too. I always asked people if they looked and never played a game where people didn't admit to it. I even cheated with it a few times once my opponent said they were going to be using the bug. I did always feel the need to at least establish the fact that this player was using bugs. I always felt that was a cheap move even though it was also not detectable so it had to basically be allowed. I sure felt cheap even having a look a few times when I actually knew I didn't need to anyhow.
