gomaki said:Ok so I'm not one to beat around the bush. Patch is being pushed back a little from the expected date because during the testing process we found 2 major issues. We then had the choice of pushing that patch, with these 2 major issues found, out to you guys and having people experience them, creating more of a snow storm, or wait, push back and get a patch with those issues fixed. So we went that route.
However in going that route the patch then has to be retested so other random stuff doesn't just pop up, which is extremely common in the 'building' process of these things, such is the life of software development.
So essentially that's what we're doing. I'm not giving anyone dates or ETAs because who knows what might crop up, we are looking good though (touch wood) and you'll not be waiting long (read week/s) This patch will then be followed by some quick fire ones rather than a big boy all the time.
After that we still have patch support 'road map' if you will, so it's not like we do this and stop.
This isn't even the statement I wrote up as i've been waiting as long as you guys to find out what is happening. This is the earliest I could provide info.
well these things happen, anyway I sympathize with any community members still awaiting the patch lol

Well yea. My condolences to those who've bought this game lol. I think in a year they will be able to enjoy this juicy piece without crashing at least.
Btw recently checked if Ubi have fixed the blinking coursore on H6 which annoyed me since the release of that game... Well no surprise. Still blinking lol.

I think it was fixed in patch 1.1.1... Oh well, it seems that it didn't fix it for everyone...

ah sorry about that, wasn't aware it became formal policy at some point (maybe add it to CoC?) lol

This is such a bummer. As mentioned before, however, I have no plans of using this function.
Good question actually, I tried to look it up myself, but didn't find any reference in the rules section. I recall it was an issue a couple of years ago or so where people found out how to do it and started doing it a lot which was a real nuisance, but apparantly it was not added to the formal rules section.

i think as long as people don't abuse that power(like anything else they could abuse), it should be ok. i like the feature, myself. it has a great potential to add some flavor to HC(it could be used for fun threads; i've been wanting to make a party thread in the vw, complete with different dance tracks for each page, and trance gifs).
i only wish there was a way that it couldn't be overwritten by a following post on the same page(like how herry threw some crap song in with my banana boat thread and screwed it all up). because that means, that someone can ruin the effect the poster before them were going for, by posting a song after them. and i think that's penalty-worthy, if you ask me.
imo, THAT should be an addendum to the CoC: no abuse of integrated songs, and NO overriding someone else's in the same page, with their own. they would have to wait until the next page, and whoever was able to post first would be the defining song for that page.
i think people should take a vote on this in the tribunal. it would be an important addendum to the CoC.

It's OK, Limbic, do your best. It wasn't you who rushed this game, though you should have thought about it when you were agreeing on the terms in contract. Still, good luck and I do hope that you will fix it soon. Because current state of game is a joke, however unfortunate it is.

No. Imagine being in class or w.e. bored and you open the site and then bam suddenly without warning a song starts playing.

yeah, this is why i'd rather get one patch over 10 smaller ones. They might accidently break what they fixed like that.
