Mutant Planet
Awesome, 6 episode documentary about biogeography.
1- New Zealand
2- Australia
3- Brazil
4- Africa
5- Madagascar
6- Japan
The explanation of how mammals were able to get to Madagascar is not a story that's interesting to learn by itself, it's also very interesting to see how scientists manage to solve such a puzzle.

Mark Steyn is one who still thinks going to Iraq was correct. MOst changed their opinions already back in 2004-2005 when the false intel (aka lies) were revealed. Who believes it was right this day and age? Heck even the Fox News front speaker, super conservative Bill O'Reilly, admitted it was a mistake to go to Iraq. *shrugs*
I can't watch any of his clips. Speaking of which that is no documentary. OSM baby

I browsed back a bit the thread and I found similar slips, then I had no idea where to post it, so sorry for that. I enjoyed his speech and humor.
And sorry also for forgetting the nowadays such praised self-righteousness, which commands us, once we disagree with one idea, to further ignore that whole person and his global reasoning, no matter what is about, when or why. And of course, all this while continuing to give our lighted advice about what we just acknowledged that we ignore.
No weaknesses on the route towards absolute morality. No tolerance to multiculturalism diverse ideas neither.

Have not contributed much in a while but here are a few Docs I think worth most folks time.
The first is a shocking exposure that truly needs every thinking person...thinking. Something that 'might' bring out the activist in you.
The Lightbulb Conspiracy

Hope I've not posted this one before but it is an important history-lesson and one that has not went away. If we only had"great" leaders today and not newer versions of these three.
Allies at War

Tried this one on a whim and became interested in his insights. Truth will always be hard to see in this immoral world of ours but I think this man's sincerity and awareness are both sound. Possibly the most interesting aspect of his presentation, is his bouncing between World & local stages but keeping the two united to good effect. i.e. <imvho>The clash between Corporate-investment in city infrastructure versus needs of the average-poor man is very revealing.

Mao's Great Famine - the stuff about a large hand-made famine in the CPR, middle of XX c. A.D.. The creator - BBC , with all it's , hmm, ahh, a one-sided points of view, and the other disadvantages . . . but anyway the movie itself can provide us with the some interesting cinematographic data, and the remarkable information about a strategy and tactics of the Communist Party of CPR.
Of course, for nowadays the strategy and even the tactic is a very different from the "old-skool kill 'em all", the very example is a Hong Kong Protest 2014 A.D..

Some good Holocaust documentaries: http://codoh.com/library/categories/1167/ These go much deeper than the kind we were shown in classrooms. I would especially recommend those by Dean Irebodd. If you have trouble playing the videos, some of them can also be viewed here.

Eh, in the country I live, your site could get me in trouble. Denying or discussing the reality of the gas chambers is punished by prison, under highly anti-Semitic crime.

If a "documentary" says there were no gas chambers, it's cuckoo stuff anyway, the camps are still there as museums and there had been hundreds, if not thousands of people both Nazi (from all ranks) and prisoner who had been interviewed about what went down in them, in court of law, in private interviews or in autobiographic memoirs.
The law is not okay though, to talk about idiotic and crazy conspricies should be still within the freedom of speech. If I know one thing about such sort of people, it is that this will only make them believe it more: The government's trying to silence us for a reason, man! The Jews are running the government behind the scenes, man!

Two points:
- Freedom of speech in France became highly questionable since last decade or so, we had examples of some people getting severely sanctioned for things they said publicly. You're easily getting labelled as "terrorism apologist" or "genocide enthusiast" nowadays.
- Private banks and a handful of billionaires are indeed behind the scenes, most of french press and medias for instance has been bought by these people (you can find the list on the net).
I am not a conspirationist, but I'm not blind either, take for instance a look at what Wesley Clark says about the US government and how some things are done behind the scenes, sometimes even without approval of government. Absolutely mindblowing revelations coming from this 4 stars retired general with all his mind, so not exactly your obscure youtube podcast made by some random student either.

Worth reminding that ALL the "antisemitic" comments made by Le Pen -father- were done during discussions about gas chambers. Once he was asked if they were a detail of the second WW, second time he was asked if he acknowledge their existence, to which he answered he never could see them personally, then he was condemned and the whole party labeled as anti-Semitic. So easy.

So, for instance, if someone asks you if you think that planet Jupiter or Paul McCartney exists, would your answer be "well, I havent laid eyes on them personally." I don't think his answer should be banned but why would you give sucn an answer to a simple question like that, if you are not anti-semitic on some level indeed.
