the HC olympics
As promised, i have a concept for something fun here now.
it is about combining different parts of the forum into a competition.
So far.. this is the elements i want in:
tavern
* A competition in role playing. (vouleenter for help needed, no need for extreme colour qualifications though as we make it here in tavern  )
* The battle of tosses
* Free artistery (voulenteer needed, preferbly consis/wookie/daddy)
library
* weekly quiz (vouleenters needed, preferbly xartoss/angelito/wub)
* possibly a tournament such as the allied one
other side
* debate war (vouleenter prefered: svarog)
* essay writing (voulenteer prefered: someone who likes reading looong texts, khaelo? )
if more suggestions, please adress them to me through IM:s, same if you wanna help out as a voulenteer.
So.. whats this all about? its about gaining points from different sides of the forum in the above named categories.
And the one with most points, from the different categories will be the winner.
easy.
And off course you dont have to participate in all events/categories if you want in.
More specific details for each category will come later as i will need feedback from vouleenters first 
As mentioned in another thread this is an attempt by me to trigger this place up, or to follow my metaphor.. planting the seeds.
First i need the water.. i need help and feedback from voulenteers.
Then i need sun.. i need members who wanna participate in this big competition.

That's a good idea... I can't say anything for sure yet on my participation, but I'm definetely watching this thread...
(wait, did I just use a whole lot of words to say absolutely nothing? go figure )

I can volunteer for the art bit, whatever that means
I'd like to participate in the RPing thingy too if possible, and maybe in the tossing, although I don't stand a chance I guess

it is, you sign up for the whole tournament. But if you dont want to take a part in one competition i wont force you. But it the points you get all together that counts and off course you can always claim yourself to be the best of a particular part here.. such as essay writing or debating or something.
So voulenteers so far:

Ill talk to you two and hopefully more voulenteers after the weekend as im going away.

I'm always up for debate. the thread stands, but no one wanted to have one. if u manage to force these lazy punks for a round, i'd be happy to help arrange it for them. or participate, whatever.

I'm not much of a performer in any of the disciplines issued here, but i'm willing to give it a try.Sign me in!
It's important to participate, not to win(speaking of olympic spirit).
Maybe i can help a bit with the Library quiz if Angelito wants me...

I would like to sign up & help out!
I look forward to measuring my abilities against the rest of HC's elite and would also like to help the competition go smoothly. So, if someone is still needed for the Essay Writing Section, then I volunteer!
