Task 9 is completely lame cheating I think.
Though it is doable. Bug should be fixed.

i wonder if the title shouldn't be modified into "guide for newbies ... in arts of the dark - black magic mastery - part 1" ?!
it looks like there is high interest for "what should not be done" side. everyone's preferences , i won't discuss further more, some will still remain meaningless for me.

I would like to add that it's stupid too. The same can be done with just basic charm at no cost!
This bug kills diplomacy and charm skills.
So is it a "how to abuse bugs and loopholes" thread?

As i say in begin this tasks not only for players, for mapmakers too - thay must know how to prevent unlikely tricks!
Bug with diplo will be fixed by equlibrius team soon.

i see no reason to force and inhibits someone creation just for some ...doubtful players. to ruin an entire strategy just because someone wants to impress his opponent with his "knowledge" .
strange thing that this is coming from you, hoher. i heard some stories, i refuse to believe , still. it would be very sad....

well, i tried to get some insatiable's pieces these days but he's really good on dodging, tho i'm sure the day when he will empty the beer bottles and grab the mouse for awhile(few turns)will come.

H5 Beta is unplayable, I can't bear to wait 10 min w/o even looking in my castle, or being afraid to alt tab cause the game will crash.
I don't think they'll be done by March, there's a LOT of things to be tweaked about it.

P.S.: the battle grid is horrible.

Heroes V beta isn't unplayable (just grab a book), it might even pass h4 after a dozen patches + a few expansions

Got myself a book, started a friendly game with my older brother, and after 2 long turns of his (you all know him  ) game goes BOOM, so in respect to that the book went WOOSH out the window

well, after some more consideration, I have realised that I am to blame for the crashes (didn't have my video drivers up to date ).
After getting the mod for singleplayer, I must say I'm starting to love this game (despite its bugs).
I have seen some interesting stuff in the hero development so far.
