Sorry, but I clearly said Elemental Mage, but, since the mages only fight with elemental spells/might, it might not be smart, same with the dragons. But I'm pretty sure you creative people can think of a better name for elemental dragon, can't you?

To make a long story short, you'd like an elemental race. Right?

I want the Fortress from H3 back, not some pseudo-Asian Fortress that doesn't even live in a swamp. Mybe in 6, we can only hope.

although I can't vote (see explanation before), I would have chosen the humans worhipping Sylath who would have in their line-up halfing, militia, pikeman, roc, troll, pegasus rider & air dragon
my second choice would be nagas though...
If dragonknights won't be a faction than they should be a neutral unit which will be just like a homm4 crusader only named dragonknight and it's armor would be darker in colour

Im agree with everything there, love your proposals. But except one thing, theres so many dragons, why not Roc and the upgrades: Thunderbird and Frost Eagle, I thought of Firebird, but we have Phoenix so..

Orfinn, I know that there are to many dragons and if the action in hommV would take place in axeoth I would certainly go for a lv7 thunderbird, but this is Ashan, whether we like it or not the dragons are omnipresent, so I chose a dragon because it's more likely to happen somewhere in the future. It's more a guess than a wish. If the thunderbird would jump from tier4 to 7 than at tier 4 I'd go for a human sorceror unit.

GL is right to say that humans are, as ever, overused (those of you following my game will know how I feel here); and also right to suggest that the Dark-Messiah-type free city humans would be suitable for HoMM6. Nagas would work as a third expansion pack, although as I've said before, steering away from a swamp look (maybe to leave the idea free for HoMM6). Dragon Knights don't really make for a faction since there isn't much suitable for their lineup, at least not coming to mind at the moment.

But it's all academic writing that, so in fact I'd like to see Naga in HoMM6 along with maybe a swamp town, the free cities with air-creatures, and something new (plus some of the regulars naturally). Conflux never did it for me, even though I did quite like Daystar and Alc's ICTC entry.

Yes, a Naga as the oriental/water town and a seperate swamp town would work nicely. Also, maybe rotate the Dwarves and Wizards, make Dwarves "dirt mountains" and Wizards "snowy mountains". IMO, it just suits them better.

Many unused races I could think :
1. Gnoll
2. Lizardman
3. Werewolf
4. Vori (Half-human) Elf
5. Mutant
6. Naga
7. Alien and/or Predator
8. Troglodyte
9. Harpy
10. Vanara (Ape man)
11. Halfling/Hobbit/Leprechaun

Some of them has been used in Weekly Faction Contest, ICTC, or Altar of Wishes forum

Only 19 votes so far, but as expected the nagas lead. If Nival/Ubi wasn't planning to introduce the orcs in the second expansion but because of the way fans demanded them it happened in the end maybe they will make a third add-on if the community shows interest.

my guess is that in a swamp/sea town there will be mostly nagas and maybe dragonfly, basilisk and a dragon(oriental snake like with no wings) who casts spells

No dude. That town looks great, fitting for a Naga town indeed. I love things hanging in the air, its just feels magical, mystic, beautiful. Gotta be a biemotion from when I was just a small child seeing this fancy things hanging over my bed, twirling around, around in different colors.....
Are you just afraid of heights watcher?

Glad to hear that. But I always wanted to think of werewolves as savage unintelligent beasts. How should the heroes work out? Being like the most modern werewolves in Underworld 1, where they can change shape at command, not affected by moonlight? While a werewolf creature (lets say at tier 4) will just be a savage beast.

If you watch Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, you will be familiar with the Character of Daniel "Oz" Ozborne, a werewolf.  In later seasons he changed into a werewolf at the full moon or when he was angry (eg, when he found out that his Girlfriend was gay and dating a witch)  The rest of the time he was taciturn and funny.  (somehow that worked out...)

anyway, I think that the werewolves would look human/elvish (seriously, why can't they be wolf-elf, as well as wolf-man?  or woman) most of the time, albiet rather hairy, except when hit with rays of moonlight (i've posted this in other places, go look there) which makes them transform.

low level werewolves would become like the wolf (which looks good and savage) and higher level werewolves would become sort of half human/elf and half wolf.  Head, paws, tail, feet, and chest would become wolf like, but the rest would be humanoid/elvish, and they would stand upright.

The hero would be a vampire with a parasol riding on a werewolf. Did I say that out loud?  Anyway, the werewolf would be in full wolf form, and I have a picture so why am I describing it?

**Can't post picture, internet is way too slow**

anyway, there would be this whole thing called shining, where moonlight would make werewolves able to go all "grr" and vampires could go from being creepy pale guys with bad teeth to teleporting, bat shapeshifting, serious pains in the neck.
