If you could
go back in time to observe someone or somthing that happened before you were born. What would you want to see, what would you want to know?
e.g. One thing I'd like to know is what Genghis Khan was like to his women... I just heard he had like a 1000+ concubines.
there is probably something I'd rather see, but this is what made me wonder

I would want to see the battle of Alysia with Julius Caesar and Vercingetorix.
Or, perhaps go back to 1983, and watch the Live in Warsaw, Poland Concert by Tangerine Dream (Best Concert Ever).
Or maybe go back to see if Jesus really DID exist.

From what I've heard about Attila, Genghis' women were probably a lot better off.
*Prehistory: I think anyone would be interested in seeing what it was like before homo sapiens completely took the helm. And let's not forget the dinosaurs.
*Library at Alexandria: It'd be cool to see what type of knowledge was actually in there before it got burned to the ground. I probably couldn't read the scrolls, though.
*Cleopatra, Helen of Troy, Yang Guifei, among others: I'd like to know if they really were beautiful like the stories often claim.
*The life and times of Jesus Christ: Now wouldn't that be something?
*On the set of Disney's adaptation of TTLUTS, 1954: So freaking cool, it'd be.
*Monterey Pop Festival, 1967: Man, to have front-row seats at this event would be killer. The final night of the three day concert would definitely be memorable, thanks to the Who and the JHE. You can tell by my writing this that I'm not eager to shell out a crateload of cash to buy that expensive documentary that's floating around.
*Aloha Tower Marketplace, 1984: I'm not the hugest Reckoning fan out there, but I'd have loved to see R.E.M.'s only concert ever in Hawaii. They were considerably new back then, but so what?

I saw on a documentary once that through other accounts and depictions and like a scientific digital remake, Cleopatra wasn't beautiful at all, but actually really ugly

TBH I've actually wondered what it'd be like to kinda temporarily go back to the Pride & Prejudice days with my modern clothes, technology, language etc and check it out, pick up chicks

I'd probably watch a Queen concert, preferably one from the seventies. Seeing what Jesus was really like would be neato as well.

The Roman Empire, and maybe the rise of the European nations as well during the middle ages. But seeing the Roman Empire at its height would be incredible.

Umm... maybe not I would probably go back in time and thank Elvis for making rock 'n roll, 'cause if not for him there would be no good metal today

Before or after the had the next in your line?
I would do a bunch of the above, as well as see Leonardo Da Vinci (one of my few role models), as well as check out "Atlantis" (see the Greeks who wrote about it), and although we know, I would like to see the pyramids and Stonehenge being built.

Atlantis and what happened to it would be intriguing. I'd also like to see the Mongols invading Eastern Europe, and how they were so easily able to smash massive armies with low losses. Seeing the Roman Empire at its best would beat anything else, though, IMO. That empire was simply amazing.

I would come in just before Gregory Orlov & become lovers with Sophie Agusta Federica.
In the mean while the insane George the 3rd,instead of death I would kick him in the nards & throw him in the secret doungeon.
Make peace with the french King & ride my white horse next to her black one 
Then more sex & then we would get married.
Then I would pay for her biggest funeral because she missed out by a few yrs to live past the 1800's

Here's what I'd do. I'd go back in time to when Hitler was 2 years old and take some video footage. Then I'd go back to when Genghis Khan was a 2 year old and record some video of that too. I'd do the same for Stalin, Pol Pot, Asshurbanipal, etc...
Then I'd taken all the footage and compile it into one video, which I'd call "History's greatest mass-murderers". I think I could sell that on the internet.

Supposedly, yes. Thing is, I've never seen a seventies gig of theirs, and I also always prefered the first decade of their career.
