What's been going on with me
Some may have noticed I've been less active as of late, so I wanted to put out a shout out here.
Two biggest changes in my life: I'm now openly bisexual and a Wiccan practitioner of the Craft.
The first one is causing me the biggest problems, as my room mate (boarding school) is heavily homophobic (religious reasons) and he has no idea. This means that I'm sorta limited in flirting, because he would pitch a fit if he found out. Also, I can't explain my recent depression. It's mostly due to a case of double heartbreak. The two guys I've had a crush on recently both managed to break my heart within the same 18 hours. One left the boarding school and permanently AFKed his facebook, so he is, for all discussions and descriptions, dead as far as I know. The other one was a guy from Robotics (I'm on the local robotics team, I think I've mentioned this) who I was getting along with pretty well. We were slipping around and chanced upon the nature of magic. He immediately got defensive and started labeling magic, at least in the real world, as being an act of the Devil. It threw me. I've honestly never been accused of devil worship, despite being a pagan for almost a year and a day now. Until now. And he had no idea that he was saying something painful. And my nerve failed me, utterly preventing me from defending my practices.
I've had crushes before, but never once has one of them unwittingly attacked something I hold as my most cherished safe ground from the trials and tribulations of an increasingly complex and unfriendly world. The worst bit is, I have no one to talk to about this. So, in the end, I decided to come home to Heroes Community, and to spill my thoughts to the one place I could think of where I have people I trust.
So, that's my weekend. Please comment.

Also, chin up! I'm sure you'll find your significant other eventually...we all do.

Dude, if a guy hates it when another guy flirts with him, that doesn't mean he's homophobic Heck, if I had to share a room with a bisexual practitioner of witchcraft, I'd feel a bit awkward too (no offense meant, of course. Don't wanna wake up as a frog one day j/k).
Anyway, you're bisexual, but I've never heard you talking about having a crush on a girl.  Maybe you should try it out sometime.
When a chick breaks your heart (or, in medical terms: turns out to be a biach), you spend a night at the pub with your mates, drinking and talking about how they're all the bloody same, selfish hoes.  But if a guy does that to you, firstly you won't find any pals to drink with you at the pub (unless it's a... you know, one of those bars where they play Village People), and secondly you can't say they're all the same since you're one of them
PS Christian dogma does teach that any form of magic is connected to the devil. In fact, Christian dogma teaches that everything except Christian dogma is connected to the devil, so... You might retaliate with saying that you think that burning people at stakes is somewhat connected to the devil, too (works every time).
