Heroes VI: make your predictions
So, the Altar is full of proposals for the next installment, and the likelihood of it being made does seem to be quite high, so I thought I'd do what I did before the two expansions came out, and ask - what do you think will be in Heroes 6? We all have our ideas of the ideal game, but the fact is, we know they're unlikely to actually appear - so what do we think Ubisoft's ideas are? I did this off of HC with a few people before H5 came out (I did disastrously, but hey), and it was enjoyable to see what I had predicted, after the actual details had been revealed.
So, make your predictions! Anything from small to large. Particularly, focus on storyline, factions and creature line-ups; don't forget that the creature hiring system need not stay the same as it is at the moment. Make good use of the H5 and DM storyline and lore.
Desires and wishes here.

Some while ago now, Fabrice (I think) said that installments five and six of the series would together include 11 different factions, so I'm expecting three new ones. If the Naga don't arrive somewhere or other I will be very surprised, given their references in the lore and the hint received somewhere that the designers had plans for them, plus the hidden building, concept art etc.. Quite how they'll explain away their absence throughout the storyline so far I don't know.
As for the other two, I'm not sure. Maybe the free cities, although I think it was implied somewhere that they're not united enough. However, their presence in DM bodes well I would say. And as for the Dragon Knights, Blind Brothers, Faceless etc. they all seem far too low in number for any sort of civilised gathering. I presume we'll get the normal amount of factions, six or so, so some of the H5 standards will return - Haven and Inferno no doubt, and, a complete guess, not Fortress and Dungeon (maybe they get engrossed in underworld struggles or something... - although, it would seem a bit weird for them to get rid of two of the newish factions after Heroes 3).
It was also suggested somewhere that Heroes 6 would be more of a change from the norm of the series than 5. The possible change of developer may have a slight effect on this though. All the same, I think it's possible that we might see a change from the homogeneous seven levels per faction plus upgrades, although I won't be all that surprised if they stick with the standard formula here, given the similarity of lineups between 3 and 5. In fact, given Ubival's record, I have a feeling of if I see much we shake up in the lineups themselves.
Storywise, my best bet would be continuing after the catastrophic ending of DM. Sounds like that'll give the most storyline potential, although something about some other point in Asha's history `to date` could happen. I really can't think of anything at a lower level of detail though.

Will not happen.
Ubisoft is another casualty of world wide economic implosion.
Nival will have to finish H5's last expansion and, find a new distributor for its current products.
HoMM6 is, or will be, a mere possibility in the far future out of pure financial detriment of this sloppy world of today.
@Gnoll Mage: aside those three points of discussions, you do not seem to leave much space for overall game's adventure map improvements or, do you?
