heroes 5 gets disconnected problem:(
Hello ALl,
I need help. Ever since i got my new computer, i cannot seem to get a stable connection online with HERoes. I keep getting disconnted all the time.
I am running no firewall when i play. I use hamachi. I have windows XP profesionnal.
I called internet provider, and connection is perfect.
Can anyone help, any ideas??

Hello, Karim26,
First thing that comes to mind is ....router problems..
You can solve that from here.
Secondly, New computer and all, you might have overlooked something i.e. firewall ( Yes I have read your intro ) / Anti-virus program ( s ) - Double check.
Also, New computer means that you have to "plug'n play your router / modem ( comcast.net <- I assume ) AND from time to time it can take up to 6-8 hours before you get a "static" IP at a Ubi.com point of view. Trust me I have been there done that.
Well that's my 2 cent's, hope it works

If it is the default windows firewall it could theoretically be blocking hamachi..

windows xp + no firewall = virus /worm ect that slows your computer and might cause instability in games like homm for example.
