Actually there was a thread about the new season stating that Battlefest would be the first tournament ran on it. I have also stated many times Clans will be up and running ASAP, Raven Chubby and I still have a few things to work out with them but other than that they are complete.

A few points of REALITY FACTS GUYS....
-ToH homm3 last season under Mandi/Ravyn had 8976 games played. WW has had about 800 during the same period. WW just has a way of 'advertising/spamming on the zone' better; I've noticed that since season IV...
-Whether the homm3 side of ToH explodes in 1000 peices, I am still here, and strongly supporting homm4 ToH, so it is not dying in any form. I know h4 is not popular to you guys and means nothing, but it has its own strong following at about the same sized community.
Just like I keep the discipline of not touching my models during photoshoots lol.... even though I am very much itching to do a 'redo of ToH' combining homm3 and homm4, I cannot and must keep the discipline of not touching the homm3 side as per my promise.
About how that would work though, the rankings would be the same page, but there would be unique icons representing homm3 and homm4 players on that ranking page. Homm3'ers would still play on the zone, and homm4'ers would be gamespy. If zone died, I had considered making a zone-like room then.
But more exciting was the master template/concept I came up with doing a combination homm3/homm4 clans... and is the true core of why I am very hyper right now about the bind.
I created homm3 ToH 5 years ago because all the homm3 tourneys sucked big time, and I decided to make one of my own. But now that ww is a quality tournament, so be it, that is a good thing -- though h3 ToH still looks better in my eyes. All I know is that ToH is the only supporter for homm4, and so I will be there supporting it, and the focus of my ToH work.

I think rych has a valid point. Now i know i havent been following everything so i really shouldent pass judgement on anything or anyone but i think the reason i lost interest in this game was that the competivness went away.. it did not vanish just because the the page or the tournies dident amount to what they use to, it had lots of reasons, like many good vets / players dissapering.. what were their reasons ? some prolly got tired of the game itself some prolly just like me, dident think the toh ladder system / tournies was appeling anymore.

Well Ves, if you are hell bent on leaving it all the same and concentrating all your work towards h4, then so be it. Whether ToH goes into a downward spiral, or the admin start working together to create a more vibrant tourney, theres no more use for a thread like this. Its all subjective anyway and after 4 years in your tourney, I just wanted to be heard, because I have an opinion and wont shutup about it.
Btw regarding the numbers you presented...in comparison, in just over 3 weeks, WW has had 1080 games reported! so by your numbers, they have surpassed their total games played last season by plenty...in only 3 weeks! If that doesnt tell you what is the dominant tourney, then nothing ever will.

warbringerx must hav played 200 games alone and same for bossbo, i even played like 100 games so thats 500 with 3 ppl lol

I can have 10 tourneys ASAP but it means nothing to the players till u put a date on it. It is the difference between a promise and a commitment. It can't be that hard to give some dates on the upcoming 3 tournies or so, even factoring in some slippage time. This is just basic advertising.
case in point:
my template Skirmish, i did 0 threads, 0 emails, 0 testing by other ppl apart from rych, and it remained rarely played till just recently till word of mouth got around that it is a fun template. With Midnight Mix, it has been the subject of many threads, and have a dozen testers using it. So with that level of advertising, it will take off like a rocket from day 1. It will be ready in 2 weekends time. Both templates are adequate, so has nothing to do with my level of effort on the templates (high for both), and everthing to do with my advertising approach. Same applies for tournies.

Well it's not about whos tournament is better anymore it's what we can do to make this tournament #1 without making a big deal about W&W games & MAH.
We all respect Xaviers & his crews dedication & hard work & never giving up when we were on top.

Ok, lets say your numbers are right...its doesnt get rid of the base prob...Kitten vs Raven. My way of giving it a chance is to keep playing ToH games and not just stop playing ToH for some cowardly reason. Lets see the proof that they can work together, and bring the enthusiasm back to ToH with quality tourneys and updates every 2 days.

Ehh I don;t have the numbers here but what I do have is the fact that a lot of players surrender in WW games much easier then they do in toh games.
Thats ofcourse because of the point system.
I Have had days here playing for WW I had like 5 wins and 1 loss. That would never happen in ToH where people fight to the end mostly (because of the points obviously) and I can get 2 games in on one day if lucky.
Not passing judgement on what is better or not. Just stating this little fact!@

been away for a while...
so whats new?
TOH vets is bringing up new ways to fire this tourney up and get stick for it.
Kitten is getting some stick from TOH vets and gets personal about it.
Gangrail is trying to stick up for kitten by calling the players idiots again.
Ves keeps backing his admins up.
H3 TOH still has huge fighting behind the scenes but now the fighting between em obviously has gotten public aswell.
Pecu still writes posts about things he doesnt understand but it doesnt matter that much since no one understands pecus posts anyway.
Some TOH vets are trying to act peacekeepers and is trying to calm things down.
Things in H3 still seem to be rushed out and not thought through.
nope... still the same H3 TOH to me...nm if new season or not.
One gotta say all of it is kinda ironic though.
Kitten is fed up with all the stick she is getting, so TOH rushes out with tournies that are not completely thought through... which makes the TOH vets complain so kitten feels she is getting more stick and then she and ravyn starts fighting about it which brings TOH down even more. Which leads to even more panic ideas and more stick and so on...
So here are my ideas:
1) Stop take everything so personal
2) Do not release new tournies until they are completely thought through..ask h3 vets for ideas/thoughts if needed. Just dont release any more braindead tournaments..If not we just keep getting more of the unfinished heroes4 syndrome.
3) Stop fighting!
How do you expect the players to respect a tournament when you hear about the admins keep fighting all the time behind the scenes and then there even is fighting between them in public???
This is IMO what must happend.
If not i fully support Kitten to be removed for the best of TOH.
Nothing personal but nm how you twist it the reason for TOH getting worser seems to be kittens lack of how to deal with critism.
Because her biggest "dream" here in the very harsh TOH community is for everyone to accept her it seems. But ironically that is just the problem because when you try and please everyone it usually ends up that you get torn into so many directions. So when players starts shouting for more tournaments this is what she offers on very short notice... problem is as already mentioned though that these tournies are seldom completely thought through.. which leads to more critism from other members. And then kitten feels that the critism she is getting is unjustified since... she is just trying to please everyone... so she starts fighting about it with the TOH members and admins and we get the situation we have here today.
As many other posts this is not supposed to be a bash post even if im sure many of you will read it that way.
As adams post i want my post to be a wake up call. Things aint going good now and to end this negative spiral actions needs to be taken. And to make this post somewhat creative ive pointed out what actions that needs to be taken IMO.

1 hour to beat a fest? LMAO I wanna play with you most times its 2 hours ATLEAST.. Most the time fests dont end on week 2 day 3 since most feel they dont have a clear advantage then
I dont know about the disagreements with kitten/rayven and i dont care other than the fact its not good for the community for the people who have to co-ordinate are being little prisses.
I'll believe ww has more games in than toh atleast from my stand point ... ww seems more FUN but i dont normally join more than 1 tourny...
As far as tournaments are concerned... If your gonna do it dont do a half ass job about them... Clans: If you dont know how to do it use the the old templates they worked out fairly well... maybe a few changes to nerco Battlefest could of been cool... but wasn't.(thats just my oppinion) Warlords WAS a good idea but i really never saw huge ammounts of activity EVER. I dont know about mapmasters... just sounds like warlords to me.. Randoms dont know dont care i dont like them.
If the current people in charge of toh h3 (im not just talking about 2 people but the whole) dont get their act together and make h3 fun the activity for it will die out...
Also in parting notes i wanna leave with dishonor So give me my damn drags my honor medal and my skull
